Breathe in Breathe out...You are the fire burning inside of me...you are my Passions for life?

This is some Alistair Crane on Passions BS. I mean really? Come on now! Come on!

James E. Reilly Jr. here needs a co-headwriter to reel him in.

Jesus take the wheel and the keys!

I'm with you, Erica'sEvilTwin! GH hasn't been this good in forever!

I feel like this is the we-don't-have-no-scratch cataclysmic event. They don't have a budget to invest in some vials, explosions, or those crazy balls that had some toxin so they went with what's cheap. Someone go to the commissary and get some tap water.

I am usually a sucker for these type of events, no matter how outrageous, but water. It seems so underwhelming.

All I have to say is, I'm so glad I stopped watching. This is some BS. Please, poisoning the water supply?! Is that all Ron, Frank, and Co. can come up with? GH doesn't seem fun to watch right now and that promo just proved it.

Toxic BALLS was better? water is everywhere and in everything - thats the point, you cant escape it. Would you rather have sam dangling off a cheesy cgi bridge.

You're not the only one. I love when GH does these type of stories. Of course, they're not going please everyone. But come on people, where talking about soap world, where people come back from the dead like every other day. Stop being so damn critical and enjoy the ride. GH has been on fire these past few months

Yeah, actually, I would rather have the entire cast hang off a CGI bridge. I actually didn't mind the CGI stuff nor the toxic balls. I felt there was a more believable (soap believable) level of terror with the contaminated area being contained inside the hospital.

This water drama is so grand in scope. This is practically post-apocalyptic. I am envisioning Port Charles littered with passed out inhabitants from the Floating Rib to Kelly's ...just because you can't escape it.

the poisoned water drama probably won't last longer than this week only, so people shouldn't get up in arms over it.

OMG yeah really, next you are going to be telling me they are going to try and freeze the world, that will never work. People will never believe that the ratings will plummet, Oh wait they did that and they got the cover of Newsweek for it. Hmmmmmm, Im just happy that there are people in charge of this show that loves the vets, listens to their audience, and respects the history of the show. When I hear that Frank Valentini called Jackie Zeman to see about her bringing Bobbie Spencer back to GH, This guy has my vote. Keep it coming Frank and Ron, Great job!!!

I have a question. I come on here and repeatedly read horribly negative, constantly bitching comments from people again and again and again and again and again ad nauseum. Why the heck don't you people who consistenly find it lacking just stop watching? I just don't get the sanity of watching something you so evidently despise and disrespect. Won't you be happier by very simply not turning the show on and watching something you think is good instead of constantly complaining and cutting this show down?? Just wondering................

I also love stories like this! But I'm also not a fan of Jason saving the day. Why can't we have a Liz/Sam/Carly team up and save the day type deal?

Okay, I know I'm dreaming lol.

I'm enjoying this, too, EET!

I'm thinking about who might be the most vulnerable to this kind of attack and it has me wondering whether this might be a way to give John Ingle a splashy and dignified way out. I think we can all sympathize with what he's been through this year, and maybe he wants to retire. Killing off Edward, but letting us say goodbye with some final scenes and maybe one of those all-too-common soap-video-wills, would be a pivotal outcome to this "soapic" (epic+soap) drama!

@lisonlvr- HAAH- you had me imagining Sam, Liz and Carly in a Charlies Angels pose!! That would be very epic!

EET - I am with you - I am completely on board here.

I mean what more can a person ask for -

storyline revolving around an entire cast - check

Hot villain with most likely mysterious villain on the side - check

Jason not being the ONLY hero - check

The Hospital center stage - check

Plausible act of violence - check

I for one cannot wait to see how this unfolds - and Cartini have made me want to watch GH and it stops feeling like a chore to try and keep my show afloat

I completely agree! I've been at least 2-3 weeks behind on GH for a year. I am almost caught up. I can't stop watching. It's been fabulous!

Aww thanks! I just think it's high time that the women start kicking ass on this show without the help of any man once in awhile.

What do the writers think will happen if they DO this!? The planet is going to break away from its axis and hurdle toward the sun??? I'm sure most viewers would LOVE to see a woman save the day for a change. I know I would. I'm tired of being the hero!!!

Stare

LMAO you are our hero tvgord!! Smile

Sam and carly sometimes help in saving the day but not nearly enough and half the time they write them as sitting around waiting.
