Way to go DOOL. Spend a year on Will's coming out story and get plenty of accolades from the gay press for such a great story, only to turn around and act as if Will never came out. Have you returned your GLAAD award yet? At least Will couldn't get out of there fast enough.
The only way this can be undone is to see Will having sex with another man in a more explicit love scene.

Well already told Gabi today that he is for sure not straight or Bi. he is completely Gay. I didnt like the sex angle but I'll live. It happens a lot and to GLBT people who have been out for years. Looking forward to what happens next. I agree I hope Will & Sonny get at least an equal if not hotter scene.

Well, as a gay man, I always knew I was gay, but a lot of
gay men I've met were not always so sure, in the beginning.
And it is different for everyone. The road to sexual awareness is
not always a straight (sorry!! lol) line. A good deal of
"experimentation" may be necessary, with both gay & straight sex.
Emotional confusion & social pressures are also factors to consider.
I've known several gay men who slept with women, even AFTER
declaring themselves gay. Often that, usually unsatisfying,
act (finally) ended the confusion for them.
Sadly, some people still fight their true feelings all their lives.
I don't see this one-night-stand as a step backward or the show
getting "cold feet". Will could just be going through some growing
pains on his path to true sexual awareness.
Just my two cents.
Story-wise, it creates a bunch of tension, which in turn creates
more story down the road. And, hopefully, some good emotional scenes
for the very talented Chandler Massey to act out.
Also, Gabi will probably become pregnant (or fake it) so as to
hold onto Will. Now, here's where Mom Sami will be a big help to Will.
When it comes to the desperate acts to hold onto a man who doesn't
love her, Sami has no equals. She's done it all. And then some!! lol
