Former daytime talk show host Rosie O'Donnell is lucky to be alive. The comedian revealed on her blog that she suffered a "widow maker" heart attack last week. According to the former View co-host, her quick thinking to research the Internet for symptoms—and a Bayer aspirin—saved her life. Posted O'Donnell:

I remember that Bayer TV commercial. Heck, I think one came on the other day. One low-dose aspirin can prevent lethal blood clots.

Bayer saved my life when I had a minor, but potentially deadly, heart attack in 2009. Now I'm on one 82mg per day dose. It really makes a hell of a difference.

I am very happy she survived and that she is now using her personal experience to hopefully get women to pay attention to what they think is nothing more than joint pain, half the time.
Now, just take care of yourself, Rosie. We need a funny foul mouth know it all lesbian comedian/actress to tell us how it is a lot more than we need a quiet one.
