Shenaz Treasurywala Recalls 'Glamorous' Time Starring on One Life to Live in NYC

Indian actress Shenaz Treasurywala has fond memories of her time appearing on cancelled ABC soap opera One Life to Live.Treasurywala, who played devious Rama Patel during OLTL's final season, recalled the "glamorous" experience for The Times of India. Said Treasurywala:

"ABC studios is in New York. I felt very glamorous rubbing shoulders with people like Whoopi Goldberg who shot for my show. I was with Jennifer Aniston in the elevator (in my studio); Lady Gaga was in our building too, though I couldn't get a glimpse of her."
Man I still miss One Life...

I agree with both posters. I think Ron and Frank have a knack for peppering the canvas with characters that enhance the town and connect people in interesting ways. Some of my favorite scenes were between drunk Vimal and Victor Jr.

I so enjoyed the Patels....and Shenaz brought a lovely touch of Bollywood to Llanview,PA. I LOVED it....
OMG, I still miss One Life so much. I will never ever forgive ABC.

Add me to the list of Patel family fans. Every Morning as I watch 3 hours of One Life on Soapnet I just sit and wonder why we had to say goodbye to One Life.

Everything said here is so true.I miss the Patels.Also Roxy,Destiny's family.and,yes,even Jack.What made OLTL so great was the supporting cast and the roles they played.My heart just aches so much when I see pictures and articles of these actors.
It will be along time before I can forgive ABC.

I LOVED The Patels!!! I thought it was so great for OLTL to be so diverse and add this family. Really spoke about what kind of show it was. I miss it ALL the time! I kept hoping last week on GH when John went back to Llanview to an empty house we'd have a cameo of Viki or Jessica telling him about Natalie. Sigh...
Plus I thought Rama was GORGEOUS! I hope she works on US television again

I also loved the Patels. The last year of OLTL, I often felt that had it escaped cancellation, it had the possibility of becoming an Americanized version of the Eastenders, a soap that I have loved for years.
A few months ago, I was just wondering what happened to the actors that played Rama and Vimal.
I was always slightly amused at the fact that everyone had an accent except Vimal-- even Vimal's little sister. Was that ever explained? I might have missed it, but I always imagined there could be a great complicated funny story that might explain that one.
