Y&R BYTES: Cane (Daniel Goddard) received confirmation his father was still in Australia, much to Lily’s (Christel Khalil) relief. However, the mystery surrounding what happened to his mother’s money still has Cane searching for answers. He asked Kevin for help.
Carmine (Marco Dapper) wanted to see if Kevin (Greg Rikaart) would help him get his job back at Gloworm. Abby (Marcy Rylan) convinced him to let her take a stab at convincing Gloria (Judith Chapman) to rehire him. Carmine went against Abby’s advice and tried his luck with Kevin.
Abby was not happy when she overheard Ashley (Eileen Davidson) contemplating letting Tucker (Stephen Nichols) back into her life, yet not being able to forgive her own daughter.
Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) previewed the new features Kevin had developed on the website to Adam (Michael Muhney) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). While the features were exciting, the quad hasn’t come up with a name for the new venture. Chloe said, “You’d think it would be the easiest part, but it’s not.” Ain’t that the truth.
I love Gloria, but this story about whether or not Jeffrey (Ted Shackelford) is still married to Anita (Catherine Bach) sucks.

Did I miss the scenes of Carrie saying goodbye to MArlena, John, Sami etc? At least she had a goodbue scene with ROman(whom she barely saw) WHere has Billie been? Austin couldn't have a scene with his 2 siblings to say goodbye?

I gotta say it seems like TPTB at Days may actually be pushing, ever so sublty, a one-sided crush on the part of Will towards EJ. Less than a month ago Will was telling everyone that would listen that once he got the goods on EJ he was gonna turn the tables but he seemed practically smitten with EJ during those police station scenes on today's ep(Chandler Massey was flashing that sexy grin of his towards James Scott even more than he normally does). Frankly, what with everyone in Will's family--plus Sonny--wondering why he keeps sticking up for EJ, I'm kinda surprised someone--I'm thinking Marlena here--hasn't thought that Will may have feelings for him that go beyond platonic.

From what I read somewhere else, the whole Will/EJ thing is done and they're going full steam ahead with Will/Sonny when the show comes back on. Chandler sounds kind of disappointed with the shift in storyline.
