SOAP BYTES: Days of Our Lives is One Big Clusterfluff; Who is The Weakest Link on General Hospital?
GH BYTES: The mere mention of Jack Manning (Andrew Trischitta) sent shivers of horror down my spine, because I couldn’t help imagining the awfulness of Trischitta ending up in scenes opposite Haley Pullos’ Molly. May it never happen.
I appreciate that General Hospital uses a variety of sets, but for some reason the impact of Kate (Kelly Sullivan) and Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) conversation about her DID, lost child and emotional state just doesn’t pack as big of a punch when a bunch of coffee bean bags are in the background.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Anne Robinson had popped up from behind one of those bags and told Kate “You are the weakest link, goodbye!”?
Todd (Roger Howarth) and Carly (Laura Wright) shared more scenes. I especially liked him recounting how Jack called him “Scarface.” That was about the only think Jack was good at. Carly and Todd found common ground in their past. Those two just need to take a giant leap into the nearest bed and screw their brains out.
Johnny (Brandon Barash) and Lulu (Julie Marie Berman) spent more time working on the party. I liked JoLu when Johnny first arrived in Port Charles, but I would much rather see him sharing more time with that yodeler, Starr (Kristen Alderson) or Carly. Lulu continues to be a character in much need of rehabilitation.
