I don't find it sexy at all to watch a pregnant woman getting her back blown out. I mean I know pregnant people have sex, but on a soap when you are rubbing your belly every episode...Now you gonna be spreading your legs on the desk? And with a risky pregnancy, couldn't having some Bratwurst bring harm to the baby?

As for Cafe, the idea looks good on paper of them being a couple, but unless you had Sami plotting and scheming to break them apart then it is not worth it to see this forbidden love tail. And yet it again it would be another pregnant woman "body-rockin-knockin-da-boots" when she has a baby growing inside of her. That is if it was not a dream.

What did the writers visit the hood and think of these tales?

I find the Daniel/Nicole storyline awful. I don't hate Daniel nor Nicole but watching her high-risk with EJ's baby pregnancy behind paw Daniel while dreaming about Rafe turns my stomach. I can't watch it. No one looks good in this storyline, IMO.

I wonder if TPTB will pair Rafe with Hope once Bo leaves? That would be a lot of self-righteousness for one couple but it couldn't possibly be worse than Sami/Rafe were together. Carrie/Rafe should have worked better than it did but all I saw was that it turned Carrie into an asshole. Another storyline where no one comes off well IMO.

Too me EJ show is getting very boring, they need keep Peter Reckell!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really!This is what is going to draw people back after 2 weeks off.And Carrie leaves next week.The hell with summer,bring on the fall with Will/Sonny and Eileen Davidson back.

i saw some promise with Rafe & Nicole but Rafe & Carrie had no spark at all even from the beginning & it only got worse & Daniel & Nicole have me fast forwarding the show.
they need to listen to the fans & start having Will fall for someone, either Sonny or another guy & show him dating & have Sonny dating until they realize they have feelings for each other besides friendship, that's what we want to see not boring non-couples to "spice" up the show, it's turning viewers off.

According to Days' producer Greg Meng, big things will be happening in these two weeks before the show breaks for the Olympics. I hope he means that all the stories that are currently on will be turned upside down and inside out, with lots of heads rolling.

I'm hanging onto this show by a thread.

Hope it's better than what was on today.Slow paced,repetitive,and boring.If soaps want to show what happened previously they should take a page from Dallas.Do a 30-45 second recap with clips at the start of each show.Then we would not have to set thru all this clips in the middle of the show.Oh,wait,the writers would have to come up with more new dialogue.

I actually don't mind Carrie and Rafe; I prefer them to Carrie and Austin because Austin just seems, well....gay(sorry, I've been getting that vibe since Muldoon came back to the show). As such, I see less than zero chemistry between Clark and Muldoon while Clark and Gering aren't particularly terrible, if a little boring. Still, a moot point since Clark is gone fairly soon.

As for Nicole and the Slut of Salem, love Ari Zucker and back in the day I would've drooled over Shawn Christian. Sadly, those days have passed since he now plays one of the most unappealing characters on the show(I'd say cartoon cut-out Ian and uber-bitch Sami are neck and neck with him); something about that guy (Daniel) is just really skeevy.

They rushed the attraction btwn Carrie and Rate..they needed a slower build...but Muldoon has been so boring as Austin. Daniel is a bore..rescue Nicole from that trainwreck of a character pronto! I will missCarrie though..love when Carrie and Sami fight!

I think Rafe is a boring character and no matter who they pair him with, it's still ho-hum.

Nicole, on the other hand, is a fun character and I'll watch anyone paired with her.

Now that many of my favorites Matt Ashford, Peter Reckell, Molly Burnett, and Crystal Chappell are gone or leaving, there aren't that many things keeping me watching.

I agree that Austin is doofy or gay...something's off.

They should have brought Austin Peck back to play Austin. Even though Patrick Muldoon originated the role, AP made it his own and was far longer seen as Austin as PM.

The only way Daniel and Rafe would be exciting would be if they wound up in bed TOGETHER! Now that would be HOT and send DAYS' ratings on an upward path. I'm just sayin'.....

Should be based around Eileen D...and Nicole. Too bad they cant get her real husband back on as Brady.

I think the problem with Austin is less the actor than the character. This last go-round, he's been written to be such a tool. I actually would have preferred to see Patrick Muldoon return as a bad guy, perhaps Ian (though he and Madison are both flop characters). I really enjoyed his bad-guy stint on Melrose Place in the '90s, and I think he's far more appealing as a jerk than as an all-around swell guy.

No reflection on Christie Clark, who is a solid actress, but I've just never cared for the character of Carrie. I tend to gravitate away from self-righteous characters living in glass houses (so many of them on Y&R, which, among other things, makes that show so hard to watch). I would much prefer Carrrie (and might even have gotten behind her and Rafe, whom, I agree, MUST go) if she were a bitch and owned it. Put her on an even playing field with Sami. That would be much more interesting than watching "bad girl" vs. "good girl" when "good girl" is actually an adulteress who stays with men for the weakest of reasons (like she did with Lucas some years back). HATE her.

As for Daniel and Nicole, I don't mind them, but I think they would be more enjoyable if the writers gave Nicole her claws back. Although AZ and GG have good chemistry, I'd hate to see Nicole become what Sami became with Rafe. I really liked the scenes that Nicole had with faux Rafe. If GG MUST stick around, can we bring faux Rafe back from the dead and have him kill faux Rafe?

Much as I enjoy the Will/EJ chemistry, I feel like, as so many Days characters do, they play the same scene over and over. It's time for Will to have a relationship, or just sex. That's what guys his age, gay and straight, do. I'd like for him and Sonny to be endgame, but for that to work, there will have to be a build up that just isn't happening when we see Sonny once every few weeks. Why isn't he even on the periphery of that awful Gabi/Mel/Chad story?

I like Rafe/Carrie and I sort of like Daniel and Nicole too. She brings out his fun side and he calms her down a little. I agree that there not Days' top couples but she's much better than Chad and Melanie or Gabi or whoever thwy're throwing him at these days.

I like Carrie/Rafe better than Carrie/Austin but they're boring. And I agree with everyone that finds it nauseating to watch Nicole rub her pregnant belly one minute and then have her have rough sex with Daniel the next. Seriously, Daniel hasn't had one once of character development since he joined the show and he's slept with about half the female cast. Cut him loose. Put Nicole in a story worthy of Ari's talent. I'm fast-forwarding through the entire show in like 20 minutes. The only stories I'm watching are EJ/Will, EJ/Sami (cuz lets face it they have more chemistry than Sami/Lucas) & honestly... Gabi's story but only because she's such a train wreck. I just want her to get what's coming to her and be done with it. Where the H... is Marlena!?

I think Rafe AND Sami BOTH need to be alone for a while just Roman has for so long. I think it will bring character for both of them. I liked there love scenes and drama free life. Sami deserves a settled life with a good man. Personally, I'd rather see her with Rafe than Lucas but let her and Lucas remain best friends.

As far as Daniel, I totally think he has a great character but Nicole is the WRONG person for him eventhough he seems to be falling for her pretty deeply. I'd personally LOVE to see EJ go down and see Will and Sonnie have more to happen with their roles.

I've heard Peter (Bo) and Kristen (Hope) are leaving around October. Peter for sure.

I sort of have the feeling that Kayla will end up with Abe.

Marlena is the one who killed Stephano. Remember she had a bag with a red coat in it immediately following the shooting when Roman came to the door (she put it behind the couch). She's a woman that loves her husband and she'll do ANYTHING to save him.

I actually really like Carrie and Rafe. They remind me of the original Marlena and Roman. Two people who always try to do the right thing, but fail every now and then. I think they have great chemistry.

So odd that NBC would promote Carrie and Rafe this week when Carrie and Austin leave Salem on July 24! And rather suddenly as the new writers invoke immediate change.

Oh, Carrie and Rafe definitely came across douchey with Carrie taking the crown with their finale, finale, finale good-bye.

Suddenly her feelings about Rafe became less about falling in love and more about one upping Sami. We're supposed to believe that she knew Rafe is still in love with Sami, but Carrie didn't care as long as she proved to her sister she could take her husband if she wanted him?

OMG, I could have bitched slapped her and I liked Cafe. Not loved, but I did like them cuz, well, they both walk around like their ish doesn't stink, when it certainly does, and Rafe is kinda like the male version of Carrie.

I liked Nicole and Daniel and their sexing it up while she was pregnant didn't bother me.

What I did enjoy was the way both Daniel and Nicole were comfortable enough with each other that they could tell each other anything. They weren't worried about hurting each others feelings, they just said it like it was & it was fun. It was more of a FWB's relationship and I'm okay with that.

Plus seeing the Nicole I'd been missing forever was a bonus. That evil little grin when she got Daniel to do what she wanted, being flirty, smiling.
