General Hospital: Perkie's Observations

Todd’s back in town and hanging out at the hotel with Carly.  She praises him for helping Tea and her baby. She says she understands about loss, explaining about her friend losing her baby.  She feels JaSam could have worked things out and been happy had the baby not died.  Carly wonders why Todd came back. He says he’s not popular in Llanview and he wants to be close to Starr.  Todd feels he has to protect Starr, but Carly warns him that it’s a fine line between protection and controlling.

Liz and Jason are at Jake’s. He wishes he could help Sam because she blames him for what he did to John.  Liz feels Jason wasn’t responsible for the baby’s death. He had respiratory failure and there’s no way to know if the hospital could have saved him.  Jason admits he thought getting John out of the way would solve his problems.  Liz points out that he wasn’t thinking straight, like Sam when she watched Jake get kidnapped and said nothing.  Jason says Sam regrets that. Liz says he’ll regret this. Liz tells Jason that Sam told her they were over and he was all hers, but that Sam isn’t thinking clearly right now.

John is surprised to see Sam released and back at the motel.  She says there’s nothing physically wrong with her. She asks about his ribs, saying she knows what Jason did to him.  John doesn’t care whose fault it was, but Sam does. She says she’ll never forgive Jason for it.

Johnny explains to Starr that he’s co-owner of the boat and wants a fresh start.  Starr says she knows who killed her family and that she wanted to hate that person, but couldn’t.  She wants something new to focus on and is happy that Johnny is helping her.  Starr says she wrote a song. Johnny lets her sing it and is quite jazzed by it.  Johnny says he’s ready to start recording and he’s helping her to redeem himself from the bad things he’s done.

Michael tells Sonny that he knows the truth about Kate and that Starr needed to know the truth.  He says Starr regrets what she did and asked for forgiveness, which Michael is willing to do.  Sonny says he doesn’t usually forgive, but he saw Starr’s pain. It reminded him of Kate and he’s glad she’s getting the help she needs.  Michael says he owes Johnny an apology, but Sonny accuses Johnny of taking advantage of Kate.

Kate freaks out that she thinks she’s pregnant.  She doesn’t know if Sonny or Johnny is the father and if she or Connie is the mother. She then thinks it through and realizes she and Sonny used protection which means it must have been Johnny.  Ewen tells her not to panic and to take a pregnancy test.

Todd says he’s worried about Starr working with Johnny. He is surprised to hear that Carly took him back.  Carly defends Johnny saying he’s sorry and that his contract with Starr is legit and that Johnny wouldn’t hurt Starr.  Todd thinks Starr can do better, but Carly says Johnny is being truthful now.

Michael says Kate never meant to cause the accident. Sonny understands that the alters are a way to protect herself against trauma that he thinks he caused.  Sonny says Connie emerged after Kate was shot on their wedding day, because he’s sure there was no childhood trauma.  He remembers that Kate was 17 the last time he saw her, before she stood him up on the corner.

Carly meets Johnny at the Star and he explains that he’s the new co-owner.  He says he doesn’t own Vonn’s anymore. He’s starting new and he’s turning it into a nightclub.  Carly understands that it’s connected to Starr and her singing. She warns him that Todd thinks he’s taking advantage of his daughter.  Johnny says he was scared of the man he became and hurt so many people that he doesn’t want to be that guy anymore.

Sam says she needs to thank John for everything he did for her. She can’t stop thinking about her baby and now he’s gone.  John tells her he’s leaving, saying he came for a reason. He explains about his sister and her connection to Sonny.  He says his warrant has expired and it’s time to go home.  Sam says she’s checking out too, to stay with Alexis.  John wishes her happiness.  They hug before he leaves.  Sam leaves the dragon figurine behind.

Jason asks about Ewen and Liz says he’s been released and their going on a date.  She says she likes him, that he’s nice and thoughtful and kind.  Jason warns that Ewen better treat her properly or he’ll answer to Jason.  He hopes Ewen is right for her because Liz deserves to be happy. They hug before she leaves.  Jason leaves his figurine behind.

Starr finds Todd at the hotel.  She tells him she saw Kate and felt sorry for her.  She’s glad he’s here, but wonders why he’s in town.  Todd says he’s thinking of moving to Port Charles and jokes of becoming a rock star.  Starr admits that Johnny is helping her and she’s happy.  She wonders what Todd’s really going to do, and he points to his newspaper where’s written in SUN.

Kate takes the test and gets upset that it’s a plus sign which means pregnancy.  Ewen looks at the test and says it’s negative. He wonders why Kate would say she’s pregnant when she isn’t.  Kate cries that it’s the worst thing to ever happen, because she’s only 17.  Ewen’s confused and questions her. She’s says she’s not Kate, she’s Connie. She cries out, wondering how can she tell her boyfriend Sonny that she’s pregnant.

John shows up at Sonny and tells him they need to talk about his sister Teresa.

It took me three rewinds to see that Kate was seeing something different than Ewen was. I couldn't figure it out at first, until I noticed that Ewen was holding the purple test stick while when Kate looked at it, she saw a white stick and her fingernail was polished red. I finally realized she was seeing something she had seen before and wasn't seeing the current test.

So, first they say that Sonny and Kate never had sex. Then when KeSul took over, they said they did and now they're saying Connie found herself pregnant. I'm hoping the story is that Connie, realizing she wanted more for herself than being a mobster's baby mama, had an abortion. I think a story where Sonny has to deal with that being the reason she left him all those years ago, would be interesting. Also, ewww that Sonny got both Falconari women pregnant.

Funny line of the day:
JOhn to Sonny: Don't get upset wiht Max and Milo, they're busy chasing an intruder that I hired to intrude.

The mental image of those two numbskulls chasing someone on Sonny's compound is hilarious to me.

Good Starr/Johnny scenes. I didn't mind the singing as much as I thought I would.

Good Starr/Todd scenes. I like them both in dad/daughter mode.

To me, Liz looked fine leaving Jason behind, but Sam looked sad to be leaving JOhn behind. Liz's hug seemed more friendly whereas Sam's looked more longingly.

I'm going to miss McBain while he's gone.

Sure Carly is friendly with Todd now, but once the baby switch and then the paternity comes out, how will she feel about the man who switched Jason's baby out with Tea's? I mean after all, Jason is more important to Carly than her own children.

I wish Jason would leave town for some soul searching... and if he didn't come back at all it wouldn't bother me one bit.

The Kate stuff confused me as well.

Perkie I guess it depends how you read in to it...I didnt see sam as longing romantically so much as mcbain has been her only confidant really because jason has had his head up his bum for so long and most of the rest of the people in her life have divided loyalties. (I dont think of family as a "friend" thats different - she will still have the davis clan but its not the same as having a buddy and maxie is in crisis) Too, Mcbain is leaving PC and she will never theoretically see him again. Conversely, liz is so far up jasons bum (omg jason NONE of this is YOUR fault blink blink blink) that she knows she will see jason again in all of five minutes. And speaking of five minutes thats about how long it took for liz to hear the words hes all yours and to go racing to his side. (which honestly props to liz because thats about four minutes longer than I thought it would take her) Its also about the amount of time it took her to bring up the jake napping and to let jason know sam said she could have him. I found the whole scene at TFR to be - well to rip off a line from the old drew carey show - so pathetic and sad it was pathetisad. But hey if liz is content to be the consolation prize - the chick jason settles for because sam doesnt want him any more - then hey more power to her. I just think its funny that for more than a year she wanted lucky (or so she claimed) because jason wanted sam and the second jason and sam hit so much as a hiccup theres liz under foot again when she hasnt had shared so much as a moment with him prior. But I suppose thats just my leather blinders that has me imagining all those shared friendship moments over the last year or so.

as for connie - i was confused (and I admit I didnt watch it a bunch of times) but she said how do I tell sonny im preggers. does that def. mean sonny is the father? COuldnt she be pregnant from father john the local priest or tom smith the town principal or the kid from the car that sonny wanted to beat up and she didnt know how to tell sonny that she was no longer a virgin? I wasnt clear because I too remembered it as Skate having said on multiple occasions that they had never had sex and while skate could have split and one alter wouldnt know what the other did, certainly sonny would know if he...ya knowed...with connie.

Listening to starr sing the only thing I could think was AUTOTUNE

todd was cracking me up today - to err is spencer to forgive devane. lmao.

Nothing about that Liason scene was the least bit romantic to me -- and this is coming from a BIG Liason fan! Liz was trying her best to alleviate his guilt (because there was no need to add to it in his state), and be a friend to him. And Jason seemed almost brotherly toward her. She brought up the Jake kidnapping issue to show just how badly anyone can behave, including Sam, when they're desperate enough. Which Jason was (afraid he was loosing his wife to a fine/handsome/sexy stranger).

She wasn't trying to bag Jason.

I'll agree it was a little random considering Liz hasn't exactly been his confidant these last couple of years. But it's not her fault the writers are sticking her smack dab in the middle of this Jasam drama. And not even in the right way...although I am loving McBam. And can I just say how amah-zing Sam has been under this new regime!?

Like EET, I LOVED, "To err is Spencer, to forgive, Devane"! I made it my Facebook status line. (Of course, no one responded.)

I enjoyed Starr's singing (just to get ahead of all the bashers). I also noticed that her acting demeanor has settled down a little bit. Unlike the people who dislike her no matter what she does, I understood her hysteria after the deaths of her daughter and soul mate. However, now that she has "gotten over" their deaths (as if anyone ever does), I believe we'll start to see the nice, subtle acting KA can do.

This show and the next one (where McBain deals with Sonny) are supposed to make us think John is leaving, but I don't think for a minute that he is. It's all manipulation. Of all the Llanview transpLlants, McBain has been the most welcomed by GH fans, so if he's gone for good, I'll eat a T-bone steak (I'm not a meat eater).

I was glad to see Sam leave the figurine behind. Hopefully, that means she's done with the Jas-hole. I don't get anything about him. Why is he suspicious of Ewen. Granted, I'm a recent returnee to GH, but has Ewen done anything to make Jason think he's up to no good? If it's meant to show us that he cares for Liz, it comes off as creepy and menacing to me.

By the way, I know this happened on Tuesday, but I have to say that I enjoyed Tracy kissing Luke, and I also enjoyed Lulu smiling at that. This is a fun storyline that I think will keep me going when the rest of the show goes through its ups and downs (the biggest DOWN for me these days is that idiotic mob princess reality show).

I'm enjoying the show these days. I think reading all of the comments of the past few days has helped me to take sides, and I'm siding with enjoying the show.

I'm enjoying how Johnny Z is going straight, because when his misdeeds come to light, it's going to be traumatizing for a lot of people. When Starr finds out her latest savior (that was a little over the top) is the real culprit behind Cole's and Hope's deaths, she'll be singing the blues for at least three albums! When it comes out that he killed his grampadaddy, just think of all of the people who'll be ticked! Carly? Sonny? Kuh-kuh-kuh-Kate/Connie?

Liz didn't rush to Jason. He came to the hospital and ran into her. They must have BOTH decided to head to Jake's. Liz is Jason's friend and she was trying to help him feel better at a time when he was devastated. Nothing inappropriate happened. Also, Liz can bring up Sam's shitty behavior during Jake's kidnapping, any damm time she wants. It happened. However, in this instance, Liz bringing up Sam's terrible behavior wasn't to diss Sam. Her point was when one loves another and sees them slipping away, terrible choices can be made. Sam made terrible choices during Jake's kidnapping but Jason forgave her. Jason made a terrible choice with the McBain beating. The implication was his action could be forgiven too. I hated that Liz has to sell such shit but Jasam has always been GH's most trifling pairing in constant need of propping by many.

Worst part of the Liason exchange was Liz statement that nothing was Jason fault. Jason made mistakes and Liz even pointed out a few of them during their earlier convos. I would have preferred if Liz has stated that Jason did what he thought was best at the time. If he now believes he can do better, he should.

The very best part of the Liason scenes was their pool playing/discussion of Ewen. It's been awhile since there's been an even exchange of dialogue about their lives. If they have to spend time together, I hope it continues to be an even exchange about their lives and friendship cause I have no interest in them only discussing the vapidness of Jasam. Edited to add - second best part of their exchange was Liz leaving Jason at TFR. She had things to do. All he had was a damm figurine. Wink

Perkie, I agree on your assessment - Liason was about friendship yesterday.

RC did an excellent job with his presentation of Kate's pregnancy results. I truly believed Kate was pregnant and was shocked when Ewen asked why she claimed she was pregnant when the results were negative. Good twist. Bravo.

Carly's super sells job to Todd about Johnny being good for Starr is so going to scorch her when she learns the truth about Johnny. I don't understand how she can be with him, knowing he raped Kate. There are other men in PC!

I love how people twist what happened on screen to fit their vision of the show and a character. Jason found Liz in Sam's hospital room. She did not run to him. It is outright fiction to say that she ran to him.

As a Liason fan, I always see their chemistry, but I agree with the others that most of their exchanges were friendly and supportive of eachothers lives.

Liz brought up the kidnapping to make a valid point about people misbehaving and making horrible choices when they feel they are losing someone they love. She wasn't trying to make Sam look bad. She doesn't have to. Sam does that all on her own. It was Liz's child that was kidnapped, so she can bring it up any damn time she wants. Hell, if this soap had been written fairly all along, she would have bitched Sam out about it numerous times the way everyone constantly brought up her cheating on Lucky.

I did see their chemistry flare when they were flirty at the pool table...and Jason started that (per usual). He brought up Ewen, he dug for more details about how Liz feels about Ewen, and he acted possessively when he said that Ewen better treat her well or else. That was all Jason, but shockingly (not) there is nothing said about married Jason flirting with Liz and being possessive. No...there's just made up crap about Liz being after Jason. Even when she is on Sam's side and being supportive of Jasam, SamFF can't help but attack Liz. Redonkulous.

And Liz isn't supposed to smile at Jason's comment about Ewen? I would have laughed and smiled even bigger in her shoes. It was Jason trying to be sweet, caring and funny - and Liz knows him enough to get that.

Agreed!

Unlike so many here, I'm not a huge Elizabeth fan...sometimes she's OK, other times I can't stand her...but that smirk tells a tale! Here she is with a sexy doctor liking her and she's panting after the Mobtown Killer? Really? Well, what else can be expected from a woman who had three children with three different men. All she needs to do now is have a kid with Ewan and her tramp-hood will be complete.

Let the flogging begin...

OK, Todd's reasoning for moving to Port Charles because "he's not liked in Llanview" was the weakest reasoning since, for one thing, Todd LOVES TO BE HATED! and anyone who ever watched OLTL with oldTODD and nuTODD know that he was NEVER liked in town other than by his kids, his sister Vikki, and his niece Jessica (Tess loved nuTodd).

SO to say he is giving up where struggled to return to after 8 years of being held hostage to live in a town in upstate New York where no one likes him, leaving behind Blair and his son, his paper (when is reRON ... borrowed the nickname.. going to write that it is not an actual written NEWSPAPER but a website?!), his fortune, etc. And by leaving Llanview and moving upstate, he risks being connected to Tea's baby switch or Tea finding out in Llanview.

The Kate/Connie pregnant twist is ridiculous and a direct copy from OLTL and when Tess first showed up. If it's proved that Kate has D.I.D. and that she is "cleared" of causing the deaths of Starr's family because of the condition (yes, Johnny did it but they will drag that reveal out otherwise Johnny will leave the canvas for prison) than she shouldn't be allowed out of a psyche ward until the condition is corrected.

I could go on and on but I am so tired of writing comments on how stupid the writing is on this show. It hasn't gotten better since they started to borrow scripts from the closet over at the OLTL set. reRON and his team truly are racking in money for doing nothing much.

As usual excellent posts js, mecasey, Mel_O and Perkie. I don't really have to address the anti Liz comments, as you have covered the points very well.

I almost find it funny the way Jasam fans find it almost impossible to even view scenes objectively at times. I am a Liason fan, but that does not stop me from being able to say that I felt Liz was out of line talking to Sam the other day. Yes she should have expressed her sympathy to Sam for losing her baby...but then left. She should not have defended Jason to Sam...Even though her motive was entirely to help Jasam reconcile....it was none of her business...I say this to show you I can be objective and still a fan of a character. She should have thought more of Sam's feelings here.

All she has done since being inserted in this Jasam story has been either defend Sam to Jason...or now Jason to Sam...Why Liz of all the characters on the canvas is really the question?...The writers have decided to make her Jasam's biggest cheerleader...

Personally....I think Jason has shown his love for Sam has limits. His hatred of Franco was greater than his love for her...or he would never have turned his back on her and the baby. It is not like Sam cheated on him. She was raped and a victim...yet Jason's own feelings mattered more to him, then loving his wife through the bad times. I guess those vows didn't really mean that much to him. Sad

If I was a SamFF perse...I wouldn't even want him with my girl any longer...I would want the writers to explore all this off the charts sexual chemistry she has with John....Heck even as a Liason fan, I am not even sure he is good enough for Liz...If anyone has been thrown under the writer's bus in this story line... it has been Jason. Sam has been the victim, John the hero..and Liz the supportive friend...While Jason has been the DBag...It is actually funny to see him finally being written with flaws...About time...I think the new "Imperfect Jason"... will be more interesting...As he evolves then we will see which lady he belongs with.

Panting???

js3557 - excellent post. Every word you wrote about Jason's behavior was true. Also, regarding Liz's smirk/smile. When I saw her expression to Jason's unexpected yet affectionate remark, I was reminded of Liz's reaction on the day when both Matt and Ewen asked to escort her to the GH event where Sonny was honoring Dante. Liz told Matt how it has been such a long time since she had been invited on a date...to have two invitations extended to her on the same day was a heady experience for her. Thus, when Jason made his possesive proclamation, I felt as if Liz was once again feeling such a moment of disbelief (her smirk) and yes, delight (her smile). Liz is allowed to have moments of happiness. She is allowed a smile when a genuine compliment is given to her. Jason did so yesterday and Liz's response was appropriate.

Perkie is Bigomy (or Polygamy) allowed on the thread because I plan on marrying Post #9 (js3557), #12 (ghfan777) and #13 (Mecasey)

Wow the shortsightedness of some...I saw a friendship and as a person who has asked that if I wasn't getting Liason to at least give me moments like this I was flipping over the moon.

I also love that even if it was a second earlier it was Sam who let go of her chinese party favor before Jason.

Color me surprised with the whole "I'm pregnant/No you're not" moments - I don't mind re-using soap plots because to be honest all plots are done to death but when you get me at the end with a Shock moment then it works for me.

None of you figured out that the new guy coming mostly likely raped Connie(I will never call Kelly Sullivan Kate.Only Megan Ward was the real classy Kate Howard)knocked her up and that's why she ran away from Bensonhurst.Connie had an abortion changed her identity to suppress all of that trauma. It may turn out that Connie is the real persona. As Sonny exclaimed yesterday that the last time he saw Connie was the night they were suppose to run away together. The way he said it was to clarify that Connie is the real alter not Kate (which is quite obvious since Kelly Sullivan as Kate Howard is like Sears to Saks, a cheap version). But I digress. xoxo

I won't call playing pool for 30 minutes as painting the town. Anyway Liz always supported Jason's happiness, like she supported Patrick with Robin and Matt with Maxie. Finally, Alexis and Carly have three children with three different men also. So making the tramp-hood status quo will require Liz sleeping with Sonny!

"Smirk?" I didn't even notice Liz register a smirk when Jason hugged her at the pool table. Their entire exchange was completely platonic, albeit she looked hot as ever in her jeans when she returned her pool stick to the wall. So tired of Liz propping JaSam. And even Liz's support of Sam/JaSam, garners hate from SamFFs. I gues she's more interesting to hate than to love Sam.

I laugh out loud at all of the close-ups of those cheap ass Chinese takeout trinkets (dragon and Phoenix) to "represent JaSam's love." HILARIOUS. Those cheap items remind me of that tragically sad Chinese takeout wedding where the bride and groom wore tshirts and jeans. The WORST soap opera wedding ever. Back to the dragon and Phoenix...I wonder what the contrived way by which the trinkets will be cosmically returned to JaSam when the couple eventually reunites? This regime was notorious for the screentime to inanimate objects (i.e., Destiny's pregnancy test, Baby Liam's paternity test, Morasco's bag of blood, etc.) on OLTL.

And Sam & McBain have a a TON of chemistry. She has never had this much chemistry with a screen partner and his chemistry with OLTL's Natalie doesn't even come close to this. I FFWDed their convo but could see their chem when they hugged "goodbye." GH would be missing the boat to not move on McBam.

I completely agree with pjc277, regarding Todd's relocating to PC. Incredibly stupid to live in PC, given the baby switch. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

I see more chemistry between Starr and Johnny than either Starr/Michael and Johnny/Carly. I think a Johnny/Starr pairing would be more interesting when it's revealed that Johnny caused the deaths of Cole & Hope. And Carly & Todd have a lot of chemistry too.

And since Kate will undoubtedly have a now adult child with Sonny, presumably living in PC, I wonder if it will be Spinelli. [Shudders at the thought.]

Soapbaby I wondered about Spinelli too..Can someone let me know if Dante and Spin are close in age? I mean it just seems like he came on the canvas as a lost teen all those years ago and still acts like a lost teen now.

I just kind of figured that Dante was older than him and since the Falconari women were knocked up so close to each other their offspring should be too.

@Ravennite613: I am not sure what the ages of Dante, Spinelli, Lulu, and Maxie are supposed to be at this point but I imagine they are all close in age by few months/years. Sometimes, I wish soap characters would have some "benchmarks" to give us a hint of their ages (i.e., high school/college graduation.) Like, there has been some talk on these boards of the "age-difference" between Johnny and Carly, but they look close in age to me and he looks older than Lulu/Dante to me, so what do I know. Heck, Maxie was an adolescent when Lulu was born on screen!

As far as Spinelli being the progeny of Kate/Sonny seems plausible given this writing team. Of course, this is the same creative team who have recycled so many of the same stories from OLTL to GH. Spinelli being the long lost son of Sonny would be a redux of Rex (another irritating little lab-experiment-gone-wrong) being the long lost son of Clint Buchanan. They must save a ton of money taking old OLTL scripts and crossing out the characters' names. Wink Port Charles shouldn't be the only town with a multiple personality-having-Blonde-who-is-possibly pregnant-by-pigs-but-it's-okay-because-her-alter-is-slutty. Oh don't forget about the psychotic-long -lost-twin-brothers, switched paternity tests and Starr singing.

Good times.

Dante and Johnny are supposed to be the same age as said many times by Booblivia when she was playing cougar. And about 2 years ago they said once that Johnny was supposed to be 27 (while he was supposed to be the same age as Lulu when JoLu was on... go figure...).

A lot of people said at the time he showed up that Dante could not be Olivia's kid as he looks his age that is to say 7 or 8 years difference with LLC... And if I remember well DZ is older than BB and certainly looks older (obvious when you see Johnny/BB without his beard...).

Spinelli is supposed to be Lulu's age so I guess he must be younger than Dante...

It was rumored so many times that either Spin or Johnny was Kate's child with Sonny (and Johnny looked more than SOnny physically than Spin and through Trevor, it was easy to imagine a baby switch as Trevor had been in love with both Maria and Kate...). I hope that we are not headed for another of Sonny's evil spawn. I still kind of like Spinelli. If he is revealed to be Sonny's kid and we have to swallow some Sonny-Spin bonding moments, I think I am going to vomit my tea and pie... And I think that even for CarTini making Johnny sleeping with his new mommy of the month is not thinkable, so I believe Trevor has not switched Johnny at birth either Wink

The subtext of Todd's excuse is not that he left Llanview because he isn't liked, but rather he feels overwhelming guilt about Tea and the switched baby. While he might feel bad for Sam, he feels much worse about Tea. Being close to Starr is a convenient excuse, one which might also be true.

(Though it's neither hinted nor implied, one of his reasons might also might also include wanting to keep a closer eye on Heather, who is a loose cannon.)

FOR OLTL FANS: Who is running the Sun in Llanview? JACK? LOL

I'd like to imagine Heather, for all these years she's been institutionalized, has been sneaking off grounds and running a very profitable multiple-soap opera spanning baby-switching/buying/selling/DNA test-switching business on the side.

Another rerun of a OLTL plot. Kate is 17. Wasn't Messica 17 when Ford slept with her? She was flashbacked to high school and even went to Starr's prom? Real original!!

love all the Liz love!!

Laughed at the dollar store symbols of Sam's relationship!

J Bernard-As usual, measured, thoughtful and funny. The little I know about OLTL I do know about Jack's existence. He'd probably be surprised he's running the Sun too. And as regards Heather, at the DNA end of things that's Helena Cassadine territory.. Innocent

Correct me if I am wrong but I get that Kate is not pregnant. She was pregnant back in the day. We all know where this is going.

I could care less about Jason. I will let it go with that.

I was wondering the other day if Kristina's boyfriend / producer (actor) wasn't related to the poor boy floundering in the Jack role.

-------------------

Its not random (for me) I've seen a steady "re-build" of the writing renewing their friendship after Frons disseminated it however, this isn't the first time Jason has confided in Elizabeth at the beginning of their friendship back in the day it was Elizabeth doing most of the confiding to Jason now its the reverse. He has confided in her before...even during the WTD Jake storyline he came to the hospital to ask if he would be a good father. She said he would be she's always been this way re: Jason "from jump street" its not out of their character to be supportive of each other.

I do not see Elizabeth "up Jason's bum" nor do I see anything "romantic" in their scenes dialoging about wifey & her going on a date w/Ewen...

....what I do see is the whole show focusing on Jason's baby. I'll be glad when this friggin storyline is over its not a ratings grabber and they are on too much..involving the OLTL crew in their storyline hasn't done much for them but I confess they aren't quite as boring as before.

I didn't see it as romantic and you know I am fine with the scene itself. I enjoy seeing the characters interacting all over. I don't want them just in bubbles. However the timing of the scene left me with an ick factor to it. Why couldn't it have been aired next week when a tiny bit of time had passed..

I was also wondering what will happen between Carly and Todd when she finds out about the baby. I truly believe she loves Jason more than her own children as well.

Not sure why but would love to see a Liz and Todd pairing instead..

No way on a Liz and Todd pairing please! Todd is a rapist (from what I am told) and Liz was raped as a teen. I could not bear to see her with someone like that. I have never been a fan of Luke and Laura because of Luke's rape of Laura. I am not able to overlook something like that.

Now....Liz and Patrick? I could get behind that.

Todd and Liz would be ridiculous. He's probably old enough to be her father (and she talks as though she's a 12-year-old). I just don't get that notion at all.
