5 Best and Worst Moments of Glee’s Season Finale
No. 1: Mercedes didn’t get a final performance.
No. 2: The Rachel Berry Show
For an episode that was supposed to be about the glee club and senior class graduating, it sure felt like the Rachel Berry hour. Sure, each senior got “their moment,” but there was so much emphasis put on Rachel’s story it doesn’t bode well for next season’s show-within-a- show.
No. 3: Kurt didn’t get into NYADA
Why didn’t Kurt get into NYADA, but Rachel did? Carmen Tibideaux (Whoopi Goldberg) admitted his was one of the best performances she’d seen. If acceptance to the school was based on skill and performance, why did it take incessant voice mail messages, multiple people vouching for her and a performance at Nationals to get her into the school?
No. 4: Wasting Gloria Estefan
Gloria Estefan should think about singing Deanna Carter’s “Did I Shave My Legs For This?”, because after a string of great guest performances, Glee didn’t even have her sing. What a colossal disappointment.
No. 5: Mercedes as a backup singer?
Didn’t we have an entire storyline dedicated to how she wasn’t going to be a backup singer? Yes she’s going to Hollywood, but why couldn’t she have gotten a contract? It happened for Justin Bieber, why couldn’t it have happened for Mercedes? Rachel got her fantasy, why didn’t Mercedes' dream come true?
