5 Best and Worst Moments of Glee’s Season Finale

No. 3: Train Station Heartbreak

I hate Rachel Berry (Lea Michelle) with a burning passion. However, even I must admit that Finn (Cory Monteith) breaking up with Rachel was one of best moments of the episode. Not because I enjoyed seeing Rachel’s tears or broken heart—though that definitely was a plus—but because of the amazing level of understanding Finn had of their past, present and future.

Rachel was willing to delay her dreams so that she could go to New York with Finn and Kurt (Chris Colfer) the following year. However, Finn refused to let her sacrifice her dreams of being a Broadway star for him.

Finn knew what was best for her, even if she couldn’t bring herself to admit it. At the train station he finally set his songbird free.

Sorry to say that Glee is not the most entertaining show. So much lip syncing and over produced scenes has made this less natural and fun.

Have to agree about Rachel and not sure how she will be shown next year. And WHY on earth wouldn't Kurt just go to NYC and try out for Broadway?

Mercedes should have been given the dream of a lifetime or the chance to audition for AMERICAN IDOL. lol

Am I the only one who thought the commencement scene was lame and stupid? Do they expect viewers to believe the Glee club would be allowed to take over the whole thing with all their singing and jumping around on stage? The whole thing was just so laughably over-the-top. No "pomp and circumstance" whatsoever.

Who ever is running the show needs to grow a pair and actually GET RID of the seniors, and bring on some new characters. I love Kurt, Puck, etc. But seriously--this really should have been the last time that we saw them. Next season sounds God-awful, and I'm not sure I'll even be watching it.

They can't get rid of all the seniors.
I mean to lose Kurt Rachel Mercedes Quinn Finn Santana and just be left with what there?
Trainwreck. Why is Sugar still in Glee club. She just sits there and smiles and goofs off.
Don't like either Glee Project winner. I thought Lindsay should have won
but that blonde chick didn't like her and too much of a carbon copy
of Rachel. They want someone dramatically different.

Hopefully Glee Project 2 will find some talent but based on the first video for it all the guys suck.
A female in a wheelchair, a blind guy and a Justin Bieber clone (Dani Shay).

Glee Project just looks to cast alot of geeky types.

I am afraid next year its gonna be 3 songs per ep by Blaine. God I hope not.

I wish they would get rid of Kurt. He is too over the top with the leg kick and the drying his eyes.
Can't believe that their are actual dudes like that out there.
Not a homophobe but thats just over the top to me.

Btw if Brit never showed up to classes and had a 0.0 GPA she would not even be allowed to compete in Glee Club yet alone be senior class pres.

I am pretty sure Kurt still ends up in NY with Rachel.
There is no way they are gonna have Finn in the Army all season.

Who is really gone? Is Mercedes definitely gone?
Puck?

Santana is back at least. Love her.

I'll still be watching. Not like I can't find 42 min per week to watch it
and I never watch it live with commercials anyway.

And I like Rachel. Best singer hands down. Not sure why the writers absolute hatred for her. Thats how I feel about Kurt though.

Y2Jin99 Quinn, Mercedes, Puck, Mike, will all guest star or do some recurring.

Rachel, Finn, Kurt and Santana will for sure be back followed by the Juniors Tina, Blaine, and Artie. We aren't sure about Sam, Joe, Rory or Sugar.

but yes the new Glee Project Winners will be at Mckinley next year.

This show is once again off my DVR.

I thought this show was about diversity and acceptance? How ironic that its main characters are white hetero?

SAVE MERCEDES!!!

I mean really, she has no family, no backstory, minimal motivation, and one trip to church. Guess she was an orphan because no one was there for her graduation. In a world where you can become a star based on YouTube, Mercedes is the one that ends up as a back up singer. They didn't just shit on her, they SHARTED on her and walked away.

And did anyone else seem afraid of future seasons seeing as there was only 2 females that are underclassmen and one of them can't sing?

I am a big fan of Rachel. I think she is magnificent in her self assurance and her dreams. For me the big moment was the drive to the train station. Finn was absolutely perfect in these scenes. So totally torn up about what he was doing. So sure it was the right thing. And it was. He was gonna be Elliott Gould to her Streisand anyway.

I agree however about Mercedes not getting a big moment. Mercedes has been the girl to root for all these years. She has provided the show with some of its best moments such as "Beatiful" at the pep rally. She definately deserved her own moment.

Other than that, I felt like all the other seniors had a pretty balanced part of the show. I disagree that the show was all about Rachel. Puck and Quinn and Santana had huge story. I think that Santana and her mom should have sung together though. Hiring Gloria Estafan pretty much begs one musical number..... ATLEAST!
