Days of Our Lives Celebrates Daytime Emmy Nods!

Days of Our Lives received 15 Daytime Emmy Nominations this year, which is definitely reason for the show to celebrate. This week, the NBC soap heralds the achievement, including its Outstanding Drama nomination, in a new promo. Watch it after the jump!

There's only 4 soaps on the air. ALL 4 were nominated for OUTSTANDING SHOW. It ain't that big a deal anymore.

I saw a DOOL commercial during primetime, & I was glad to see NBC supporting their soap. Even if the Emmys are way less competitive, it's good that NBC remembers that they still have a soap.

True there's only 4 soaps on the air but 6 soaps were eligible. Yes OLTL was praised but didn't get a nomination and won't be eligible again so that's sad. Days rarely gets recognized and with good reason at times but there were good moments and years it could have and should have been nominated. So I'm glad for them and the fact that NBC is acknowledging is great. The funny thing is that they're showcasing so many of the actors getting the boot with their reboot in the summer.
