Ashley Questions Tucker’s Adulterous Betrayal on The Young and the Restless!

Could my dream of an Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) pairing be inching closer? I doubt it, but this week on The Young and the Restless, Ashley catches Tucker (Stephen Nichols) in bed with Harmony (Debbi Morgan).

Meanwhile, Ricky (Peter Porte) plots to take down Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Genevieve (Genie Francis) and Jill (Jess Walton) get down and dirty…literally. Watch this week’s Y&R promo after the jump!

^^ LMAO. Is it possible to vomit in one's sleep? Because I think I just found out after today's show opened with Victor and Sharon going at it hot and heavy.

At least Jill sees her REAL son before leaving for Australia.

Ashley should just end her marriage with Tucker. No questions asked! Let him have Angie or Laura or whatever woman who does not belong on that soap he wants to have.

Go Ricky!!!!

Tucker and Harmony in bed is kind of a surprise (thought it would at least be Neil and Harmony) but oh good, at least we get to see Abby revert back to venting against Tucker! Tucker does seem to have deep feelings for Ashley though so it will be interesting to see how and why that situation unfolded.

But basically I think Ashley is boring and probably still quite mentally ill and a Cane pairing isn't going to do much for either except (as mentioned by alstonboy4315) to hopefully break up the exciting team of Cane and Lily finally and forever.

Jill and Genevieve pretending to be Alexis and Krystle? Come on, it has been done to death and we don't need it.

Someone needs to slap Abby! Seriously, this character has become so annoying! If she confronts Harmony, I hope she slaps the bleached blond out of her hair!! Laughing out loud

They are basically trying TOO hard with Ricky. Peter Porte is doing an ADMIRABLE job, but I still don't think he's got the acting chops to pull off what they are trying to write for him. He's certainly no Roscoe Born or Tom Pelphrey, that's for sure. But I would love for ANYONE to put that redheaded virus in her place, and if that's Ricky, then so be it. In a perfect world, Eva Longoria's Isabella would return to REALLY give Phyllis hell. But the writers would just screw it up anyway, so never mind.........

I will be glad when they stop showing Genevieve 13 days a week. I am growing to like the character, but give me a break! But Lord knows I love myself a good catfight. Beer Beer

Tedew, thanks for the shoutout in your comments. I don't think Ashley's a boring character at all.....especially not with Eileen playing her. Now with Brenda Epperson and Shari Shattuck in the role, she was duller than dishwater, but Eileen Davidson has always had that extra special something that has kept this character interesting, even with the most anemic and stale of writing.

I met Brenda Epperson-Duomoni way back in the late 1980's when she and Doug Davidson did a personal appearance at a mall in Moline, IL (I was living in Davenport, IA at the time). She is a sweetheart.

alstonboy ... I suppose I have to agree with you about Eileen Davidson. If it has been the writing then maybe this turn of events with Tucker will change her dynamic to the better for all of our viewing pleasure. I do completely agree with you though regarding Abby ... if ever there was a unnecessary current main character; it would have to be her.

I do like Peter Porte but I'm not sure just what Ricky has or where he got his devastating expose info on Phyllis; unless he somehow heard it from his Mother. So if he has the stuff to take her down then good. I just "live in fear" that MS has the same contract wording as EB to enable Phyllis to sidestep it all.

Speaking of Victor ... it still irks me that aside from the missing obvious heart transplant issues, he has basically shown no goodwill at all toward any member of the family that allowed his life to continue. I am so fed up with having to hear him rant about Billy and his bastard child etc etc and feel that he should have cooled his Abbott vendetta ages ago.

I agree, she's a sweetheart. I have seen interviews of her and she seems like a nice, God-fearing, humble, giving woman. But her version of Ashley was a snooze to me and her acting was very unpolished.

Is that suppose to be a good thing? I can't stand this character and hopes some one b*tch slaps her back into GL. Way over the top.

Something about Ricky, does nothing for me. However, I do hope he brings down that wind bag Phyllis. Someone needs to.

The problem with Y&R is that NO one on this show is likable.

Dyllan ... of course not (I was trying to be facetious)!

Regarding likeability? For me at least, I do find quite a bit to find likeable about Adam in spite of his past deeds and actions.

Today was pretty interesting in parts...I liked that Neil told Sofia about Harmony, the start of the end as a couple...thank GOD! No Lily, Victor & Sharon, gag me, but I enjoyed the interaction between Ashley & Jack, Jack & Nikki, with Harmony & Tucker, not really into those two as a couple but the fall-out has lots of story with Neil finding out, him @ Chancellor, this could be a start of a rivalry between Neil & Tucker..hmmm? Kay in middle, then Devon who would he support? Neil. Ashley walking in I was surprised with the timing, not thinking it would be today, but it did jump start this story in a good way. The most interesting is Kyle-Eden, not the scene as much but Noah is coming home for long term and possibly set-up of younger feud of Newman-Abbott over Eden. This might drive Kyle back to the Abbott mansion. Another nail in the Diane's coffin, Nikki being granny to Noah? I hope this is where it's heading because I might enjoy this new feud. It's always fun when the all the Newmans swarm together to protect each as do Abbotts ban together, then the other ones "stuck" in middle, it's just ugly and messy but so much fun...I will have faith. Innocent I love the scene between Jill & Genura! Jill isn't afraid to get down in the mud and kick some ass! It's not Abbott or Fenmore, that is all Foster in her...I love seeing that side of Jill again...been awhile and better then her in Geisha outfit Sad But this makes me smile, Smile Team Jill here, I hope Jill pushes Genura's face in the mud!! I like the promo, I've been enjoying Y&R more now then disliking over 75% of the program as the in past. Big improvement since Angelina left. Carmine is a good addition, no ties, fresh HOT meat for possibly for Heather & Abby? Peter P. is maddening, I don't like and would not be sad if Ricky left GC, the Phyllis story is going to crash down Phyllis which I welcome, and having Christine involve makes even more fun. That's when she will miscarry trying to cover her tracks. I liked the scene between Nick & Phyllis today, not fireworks just nice quiet emotional scene...I like those subtle "realistic" scenes. No bombs, guns, doppelganger, return from the dead, or dead again NOT, AVON egg mystery, DID or virginity story just a simple scene of emotions, it was nice. Not a PHICK fan but both got it just right. MS & JM did a good job...kudos to both.

Y&R is slipping slowly into the quicksand. It's like watching the Titanic sink into the ocean. Sadly, CBS/Sony have allowed Bill Bell's daughter-in-law to ruin the show beyond recognition. Her production and writing team are a disaster. Many of the older characters don't even resemble themselves from earlier versions.

Right now, Victor is about to engage his ex-daughter-in-law of both of his sons', in a romantic entanglement. It's disgusting to watch. Michael Muhney, who plays one of Victor's sons and is one of the best additions to the show in years, has been put into limbo by the morons that run the show. They've announced that he won't be on the show until the middle or late this Summer, so I'll probably just ignore watching it until his possible return, if he ever comes back.

The show's a fucking mess.

I'll go for Cane & Ashley, anyone (or no one), would be better than seeing Ashley crawl back into Tucker's filthy bed. Is Tucker supposed to be desirable? Because I never see it, he always comes off as a dirtball. What woman would want to be with a man who sleeps with anything that walks for decades and can't stop. When he's not screwing women he's immersed in self-pity over one minor issue or another. Yuck!

Jill in a mud-fight. These day's I'll take what-ever I can get of Jill. Anything she does is more interesting than this large crop of weird newbie characters that turn into a different person daily.

You're not kidding, buddy!! A FUCKING TRAIN WRECK!!

Now Maria Arena Bell is pushing the mixing of the races down our throats again!!! I've pretty much given up on this shizz!! Not one episode did I see last week - pretty much have lost interest in MAB's "vision" of "Y & R".

ATTENTION MARIA ARENA BELL: Your 'vision' of "Y & R" sucks ass!!

I love GenV and don't care who knows it,she's interesting and I for one would love to find out more about her background before meeting Colin out of highschool. What's the lowdown on her family(sibllings, parents etc.) I bet there's alot more there then meets the eye, she's always so unlucky in love and I for one hoped Jack would of given her a second chance and forgiven her they were great together. She deserves to have a man that will love her no matter what, her trust issues are less then 0 and I really hope they strengthen her relationship with her son and not ruin it. She never bores me and I can't wait to see what direction her storyline goes next!

Bartman202. It's the writing that is the problem. The idea of "mixing of the races" is what offends you? Really?? Excuse me, when did we step back back into a 1950s Time Warp? MAB has a lot of deficient qualities in her writing but that is not one of them.

You're shoving your racist sentiments down some of our throats! I'd like flag your statement as offensive but it keeps mentioning RealityCheck's quote which I don't want to include. Just your post Bartman202.

@MsAgentProvocateur1: Is that Debbie and Tamara Tunie? Because I always thought Tamara Tunie was great on ATWT when they paired her with Lammon Rucker as Marshall.

Not at all - if the only way MAB can integrate the African-American cast members is to have them sleep around with those who aren't, then yes, it is SHIZZ! Bill Bell did it so much better (and without the PC crap)!!

Call me what you will, "MsAgentProvocateur1", but not everyone thinks like you do, so stop shoving your too-far-to-the-left "Loving everyone" crap at US!!

Hey david,

It is Tamara Tunie but she is with Tonya Pinkins. I came across this picture and I thought it was perfect because they were both on As The World Turns but missed each other by months. They were both involved with Detective Roy Franklin. And they're both Broadway Ladies. A few years ago, I had the honor to meet Tonya Pinkins when I got invited to a Preview of her then new play/musical Caroline or Change. I also got to meet Anika Noni Rose and Chandra Wilson (before Grey's Anatomy). And I was this close to Angela Bassett and Maggie Gyllenhall. Quite a treat! I was overcome when she won the Tony Award for Leading Actress and Anika Noni won for Supporting Actress the next year.

I loved both Tonya and Tamara. And I agree with you about Lamman. They were oh so hot together. ATWT blew it by crossing the line with the Marshall Travers character. As much as I loved ATWT, they get a D on how they wrote AA couples. None of the couplings were ever written in any sustainable way. Not Heather and Tucker nor Heather and Roy. Not Roy and Jess. Jess and Duncan lasted for a bit and I don't mind that they broke off but the resolution was weak. Not Bonnie and Isaac. And Marshall and Jess was the last straw.

Someone ought to do a paper or book on the history of AA couples in Daytime TV. If there's one out there, please let me know. I'd love to read one.

Bartman, don't be disgusting. Go away and don't come back with your racist bull. Yeah, go away. Yeah, don't come back. EVER.

I like Daytime. Everyone gets along. Always been a comforting fit.

Straight. Gay. Both.
Men. Women.
African-American. Latino. White. Asian. Everyone.

Now back to Eileen Davidson as Ashley. Wow, what a great actress. I'm glad that MAB has played her strong since the Event with Adam in 2009. Ash has been the one bright spot on the canvas since that time.

AlstonBoy -- We are liking Ricky. He is a great actor. I hope that he stays for a long time.

Tedew -- I know you are liking Ashley. All of us who have watched since the early 80s have a special bond with her, even if MAB has played her dry since last November.

But things are looking up for our gal. I'm hoping Cane is next. They remind me of Brad and Ash.

My problem with Adam is because of MM. He comes across very very selfish and hypocritical on his twitter account. Him whining about his lack of screen time was annoying.

Or a better suggestion, how about Abby and Heather ride in a plane that crash in the mountains. I never cared for MR. Even on GL. She plays her characters like Tina Fey plays Sarah Palin.

JL is completely overrated and the character is not needed.

I use to hate Ashley, but I have kind of warmed up to her. I still don't get Tucker. Way too many rewrites. I think the writers are going to write YoHarmony out. Just a feelin'.

Kyle and Eden SUCKED. They are NOT the future of Y&R in the Abbott v. Newman.

Which Y&R character did all this?
-never married until their 50s/60s?
-never knew their children?
-didn't know even know names of the of the people they had sex with?
-had sex with so many partners that they couldn't even make a guesstimate?
-is nasty & cruel to their sex partner after they finish the act?

Even Hugh Hefner tried the family life for a few years and raised children. I don't see anything attractive about a man who has spent his life screwing one woman after another instead of having relationships. He doesn't romance them, bring them for dinner, he just see's if he can get some, ejaculates in them, and moves on. It's so gross, he's like a prostitute that doesn't get paid.

He's been awful to Kay and has no respect for her age. I noticed Billy and Adam hold back when dealing with Victor. When Victor punched them, Billy & Adam held back. Tucker can't do the same with an even older woman, he had to yell right in her face and call her names because she dared to challenge him. I hate that they made a horrible man like this her son. He's not entertaining or interesting, he's a gross, brooding, bore that adds nothing to the Chancellor family. But yet it's the only person the writers write for in the Chancellor family these days. Y&R's Jill & Kay are no longer allowed to have story together.

I love MR & JL, like all of us this is a matter of opinion. Just because you might feel this way not everyone does and will not change my mind because you feel different.

I'm going to wait and see because I like her as an actress, maybe not everyone does but I do.

It's not about Kyle and Eden but rather Kyle & Noah which is the the younger generation of possible feud.

I happened to like the dynamic and like all of posters we have our opinions and mine isn't going to change because others happen to disagree. Better then the constant bashing just to bash.
