The character has been trashed in order to prop ratings-killing Sonny and Connie. I won't be surprised if they are just doing this so viewers will be shocked when Johnny does bite the dust.

I believed Jamey. If you go back on what he wrote yesterday, I told everyone that he never reports anything unless he's almost positive. I get scared when he says something I dont like, but happy when he says something I do like. NO LOOSE LIPS JAMEY!!

Caron 2 - With the state of affairs in the soap world, why would the writers just want us to be surprised when they kill our beloved off. That wont go over too big. And believe me, if they kill Sonny, there would be hell. Alot of people do love him you know.

Having to quell actor rumors is better than not, no? It creates buzz. The first I heard of the rumor was as the DC headline that Brandon isn't going anywhere.

Forget focus groups. Now you can just float an impending departure and see the uproar it generates. Or not.

There will be hell if Sonny, Carly, or Jason were killed off, but at this point that type of reaction may be what the show needs. Ratings are already bad, and aren't getting any better. The show needs a change.

As for surprise, I keep thinking about a few years ago when they tried to act like Vincent Irizarry and Florencia Lozano had left their shows, so we'd be shocked when they actually hadn't. I can see this being the reverse - they want people to be surprised when Johnny actually does die.

With those two pics side by side like that, they look like they could be brothers, they're both nice looking men. I don't know about BB staying though, he's getting the usual GH treatment, under the bus til you're out the door.

Carol2 -I hear you. I was so pissed about that, (about VI and FL) I cant tell you. But that was in days of old when cancellations were not heard of with abc soaps. I would think that if they try this now, there will be alot of loose cannons around, including myself. I dont want that kind of element of surprise.

I don't know whether to be happy that GH is keeping a talented actor with so much untapped potential or to be sad that GH is keeping a character who is now not only a multiple killer but is knee deep in this maybe rape of NuKate/Connie.

It's a shame GH couldn't appreciate BB's comic timing and his rapport with his female co-stars and use that to attract soap fans instead of making him just another Sonny enemy---another man with whom Sonny can share multiple women.

GH could sure benefit from losing at least one mob family. Oh well...

As long as Sonny and Jason are around I don't think the show will benefit from a mob family going. Their stories are not really about the mob anyway, more about the women in their lives and how pathetic said women are. It's how degrading the writing is for women and how unsympathetic most of the men are. Unfortunately, that has been going on a long time, and Ron and Frank likely won't make it any better, given how vile their leading men (Victor, Rex, McBain, Clint) were on OLTL.

I saw JZ was being killed off on two spoilers sites. He is one of the main reasons I watch the show, needless to say I was not a happy fan.

I'm no fan of the mob, but I do enjoy BB's acting chops on the show. While I would love to see him stay, even an etching in stone from Moses himself will not change the fact that the Zacchara's are o-u-t! I'm sticking to the belief of the "rumors" that Johnny and Anthony will be gone by summers end.

I am just wondering if they are going to do what they did with TK and maybe kill Johnny off but have BB come back as his long,lost twin?Or maybe have it turn out he is really working with the WSB and Robert?I mean when Robert came to town the last time it was because he was there because of some case he was on NOT to see Robin.So maybe he was meeting with Johnny.

I totally agree. And this crap is on CarTini...they wrote it. It is SO out of character for Johnny to be involved in things like selling human organs. The mess with Connie is out of character too. Johnny has always basically been a decent person...(Except for the occasional killing, but they usually really deserved it.) He refused to get involved with Kristina; refused to hire Michael; for quite a while refused to get involved with Connie. So why, all of a sudden, is he doing these things the viewers know he wouldn't do?

I was liking Johnny and Carly together and now that's probably done. And if Sonny and Carly sleep together...AGAIN...I just may be done too...with this show.
