I give the promo department credit for making it look like love in the afternoon but a great romance between two characters hasn't happened in years. Maria has no idea how to write fleshed out characters. She bores me.

I kinda wish Lauren would cheat on Michael because a. they're a freakingly boring couple and b. his work ALWAYS comes first and he needs a wake-up call.

I don't know how to explain Lauren. She does have good reason but somehow I'm finding her really annoying these days.

I don't ever recall a relationship that Ashley has been in that really sizzled. And as of late, her relationships with Paul and Tucker and previously with Blade...UGH! They're just so boring. The only one she seems to have a smidge of chemistry with is Nick.

Agree, RebeccaJ, that Nick and Ashley definitely showed some promise when they were having secret coffee meeting to discuss...whatever the hell was going on with Diane's lame murder. Their brief chem test was one of the best things about that story, as sad as that is to write.

Nick is kind of a boring guy in everyday life. But when he strips down to his black boxer briefs he does seem to spring to life and also transfer that electricity to his partner. Maybe Ashley should try out a younger man.
