ABC Daytime's The Revolution was cancelled not a moment too soon! The lifestyle chatfest was watched by only 1.3 million viewers the week of April 2. That's a whopping 51 percent less than the 2.63 million who were watching One Life to Live during the same time period a year ago, according to TV Media Insights.

Among the women 18-49 demo, The Revolution was off OLTL's percentages by a disastrous 64 percent; 50 percent among W18-34. All My Children replacement The Chew faired slightly better, actually improving on AMC's W18-34 numbers by 33 percent. The Chew was watched by 2.11 million viewers the week in question, which was just 9 percent off the 2.30 million who were watching AMC year-to-date. Among W18-49, however, The Chew was 25 percent off AMC's year ago demos.
CBS Daytime's The Talk was watched by 2.04 million viewers for the week in question and ABC's The View averaged 3.42 million.

I think the lead in is really hurting GH. They held steady this week, but didn't gain any new viewers while Y&R and Days hit new lows. I think Revolution is going into repeats next 2 weeks. That could further hurt GH. At least they've been given a chance. I think with time FV/RC can get the ratings up. I'm glad this show is out of its misery tho, it was painful!
KEEP WATCHING GH!

It served its purpose in ABC's eyes I'm sure - to get rid of OLTL.
Damn them all!

Who is this poor black lady you all keep making the poster child of the now defunct Revolution? Shouldn't the hosts be hung out to dry vs. pictures of her.
Just saying...

I think ABCD would get better ratings by showing classic episodes of OLTL or/and AMC than showing this awful show.
Of course these numbers let me smile ... but this bad numbers are also not good for GH. Let just pull this crap from the line-up ASAP. Show classic episodes of the former soaps right away or show classic GH episodes ... or whatever. LOL

I don't know why but the picture coupled with the headline gives me the giggles. I'm not making fun of the lady, mind you, but the incongruity of the image and the headline I guess tickles me. I have a twisted mind, that way.

I don't know who that woman in the picture is, but her reaction is how I reacted when learning that The REVULSION had been cancelled and that GH was safe!!

OLTL had low ratings for long periods of time under FV/RC and only went back up in the last year (which also didn't last). The Revolution sucks but GH isn't really giving a lot to offer, unless you enjoy paternity plot #4345 or chuckling at Connie the child killer.
