Brandon Beemer and Zack Conroy Taken Off Contract at Bold and Beautiful

The Bold and the Beautiful just got a little less beautiful. According to CBS Soaps In Depth, hotties Brandon Beemer (Owen) and Zack Conroy (Oliver) have both been taken off contract. A rep for the sudser shared with the mag that both actors and their characters will still pop up from time to time.

It was only a matter of time before they get kicked aside. It should of been Oliver/Hope/Liam....I like the character of Steffy but not buying into Liam/Steffy....Rather see Steffy/Bill/Katie....IJS

They were hardly used and totally irrelevant to the show. I mean they were okay to watch...they didn't annoy me or anything, but geez...after Oliver did Brooke up against that wall at Hope's party, that was basically IT for his character. He became a "please take me back Hope" broken record...and let's just say I didn't go to iTunes and buy it.
As for Owen...idk. He was okay...but he didn't really have much of a point either. Though I still think he and Felicia would've had KILLER chemistry, like they did when she slapped the taste out of his mouth in that one scene...haha

@gato1: No Jason Cook is the only Shawn so far. Brandon was not a good actor on Days and he totally did not embody the character of Shawn. He was JER casting on Days.

I'm not surprised since they weren't being used, hottie Owen was stuck to Jackie they wouldn't write him away from her...and Oliver had no story outside of Hope they hire these people & they drift into oblivion.

I think it's a reference to the mother of Brandon's girlfriend, Nadia Bjorlin. Mom wasn't a big fan of his on the reality show Dirty Soap.

B&B's loss is others gain. I like the suggestion about Zack coming to GH as Bobbie's son Lucas. They could do a gay s/l on there with him. Isn't he off at med school or something?
Brandon should come back as Shawn on Days but not sure if there is room for him, Belle, and Claire.

Neither really seem to be significant parts of this show. And besides, if you aren't Brooke, Ridge, Eric or Stephanie, you are totally expendable on this show.
Y&R needs to hire Zack to play a SORASED Kyle and Brandon can return to DAYS as Shawn, though he already has a steady gig on "Dirty Soap," right?

B&B is really bad with actors, it really is a revolving door and has been for many years now. I agree that if you are not Brooke, Stephanie, Taylor, Ridge and Eric then your job is not really secure.

These guys a both talented actors but there really is not a lot of story for them so it makes sense to take them off contract. I think Brad Bell has the future of the show in Steffy, Liam, Hope and Thomas. These 4 characters are tied to the original core families. While I agree that B & B needs to slow down with the revolving doors of actors they snatch up from other shows, it is a 30 minute show and the cast can only be so large.
I would love for Zack Conroy to be cast as Alexander Kiriakis (Days), Lucas Jones (GH) or as Noah Newman or Kyle Abbott (Y & R).
I like Brandon Beemer but I am hoping Days holds out for Jason Cook to return as Shawn-Douglas.

I loved Zach Conroy on GL and Brandon Beemer on DOOL. B & B never did anything good from them. I hope they both pop up in better places.
