Hope is one of my favorite characters ever so this is good.

Can someone please tell me what happened the last time she came back in relation to Adam? They were like recreated memories or something. I can't remember.

Was it LML or MAB who killed Hope?

(I mean that literally and figuratively.)

Killing off Hope was such a mistake!! Not to mention Colleen, Brad, Drucilla.....(wait, can't blame Maria Bell for that one!)

They didn't have to kill her off in order for Adam to find out that Victor was his father. That story could--and should--have played out in a totally different fashion!! Hope could be integrated into the canvas in SO many different ways!!!

It annoys me to NO end that legacy characters like Hope, Brad and Colleen were sacrificed without mercy while that worthless louse, Cane, got resurrected from the dead. Pisses me off.........

Oh well, off my soapbox!! I am sick of soaps killing off important characters only to bring them back every 5 months as ghosts!

I was watching Y&R Victor was presumed dead and met Hope.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I have never bought that a child raised by her would have ended up like how Adam is. Never.

I expect Hope's ghost to have as much influence on her son as John Abbott's ghost has on his.

I wish the ghost of Bill Bell would haunt Maria and tell her to throw in the towel now love.

Ryan-Scott: I believe Hope was last seen when she found that her cancer was overtaking her and she called Adam to her bedside to meet Victor. If I remember correctly, this was where she let him know that he was Victor's son. Prior to that I'm not sure if she ever made mention of him as any more than a friend. I distinctly remember that Adam as a pre-adolescent met Victor on the Newman jet with Hope present but no mention was made of the paternity, which is what Victor agreed to. I'm not sure there have been any flashbacks or voiceovers involving her as my viewing of Y&R has been less than attentive lately. That said, I loved the character of Hope. If Victor couldn't have Nikki as his wife, Hope was my second choice as she always seemed to be able to "humanize" him... Innocent

She needs to come back with some chains so she can whoop Adam's ass into shape!

I always found Hope to be so boring and dry. I still remember her death scenes. She was wearing that stupid silk scarf and was whispering.

How funny, I had just typed on another msg board that I hoped Hope didn't come back wearing that scarf. LOL

Adam Hope-fully will get to move forward a little bit in life. His near-obsession with Sharon needs to be toned down a bit. As I've said a great deal on another Forum, it is kind of sad to see ol' Adam stuck in an endless mode of causing mayhem.

Doesnt matter any more whether a character is dead or not. On Y&R they get the wrenching death scene out of them, the long winded funeral and then they just come back as a ghost. John had more air time as a ghost in the year he "died' then he did when he was alive. And his orange glow held up equally well on both sides of the light.
