Wendy Williams Vows to Save The Twinkie!
By Luke Kerr on January 17, 2012
Wendy Williams is putting her money where her mouth is, literally. The daytime talk show host and former Dancing With the Stars competitor has launched a campaign to save “our greatest national icon,” the Twinkie. The treat, which she equates with the Grand Canyon, bald eagle and Statue of Liberty in importance, is manufactured by Hostess Brands, which filed for bankruptcy this month.
Personally, I can’t say I ever really cared for Twinkies or its Hostess siblings Ho Hos, Ding Dongs etc. I always preferred Little Debbie’s Nutty Bars and snack cakes myself. You can ioin Williams’ fight to Save the Twinkie on Facebook and watch her video after the jump!

Luke, we are kindred spirits! I LOVE, and therefore MUCH preferred, Little Debbie. Especially their Nutty Bars. But also their Banana Twins and Devil Squares.
You brought back a very fond memory for me. Thank you for doing that at a time of day that I would normally be watching... One Life to Live.
