General Hospital: Perkie's Observations
Carly says she won’t tell Sonny where Jax is. Sonny says Michael will tell him. Alexis is angry Carly lied, saying Carly wanted to hang onto Jax’s money. Carly says she was trying to protect Jax because Sonny tried to kill him. Alexis says Carly drove Sonny to it. However, Carly says Brenda did. Carly wants Sonny to admit that he tried to kill Jax. Sonny talks about Morgan being taken away and how she lied to Michael.
Carly asks Alexis about sending Morgan away, since she tried to keep Kristina away for so long. Lulu asks Floyd and Diane to step in, but they’re willing to wait. Carly accuses Kate of trying to save Sonny, as Alexis did. Sonny says again that Michael doesn’t want anything to do with her, but Carly reminds him that Michael’s grieving Abby.
Alexis says Michael’s had enough, but Carly wonders why Alexis is back working for Sonny. She asks what Sonny has on her. Alexis claims Jax faked his death to get away from Carly, but Carly says he’s hiding from Sonny. She wonders if Alexis will defend Sonny the next time he goes after Jax.
Jason comes to and reaches out to Michael, who comes to. He accuses Jason of lying about Jax, like Carly did. Michael storms off and Dante goes after him and takes him to the hospital.
Kate blames Carly for everything. Carly calls her pathetic. She claims Sonny loves so many, until they come to their senses and run screaming. Kate feels that Carly doesn’t care about her kids. Lulu breaks up the fighting, telling them that Dante called about the accident.
Tracy tells Anthony she won’t marry him, but Anthony tells her the money she stole from the Solitos was earmarked for him and he’ll get her arrested if she doesn’t agree to marry him. Tracy says he can’t railroad her, but he tells her the engagement will show up in the papers tomorrow. Anthony leaves to get the diamond set in the ring.
Liz finds Ewan lying on a gurney, staring at the ceiling. He wants her to lie with him and imagine stars on the ceiling. Liz talks about her boys, how she misses Jake and how she failed him. Matt finds them, so Ewan heads off and Matt wonders what Ewan was demonstrating to Liz.
Liz and Matt lie on the gurney. Liz says she’s glad this year is over, but that she’s grateful for her boys spending time with her grandmother and the fact she has a job and doesn’t need to depend on anyone. She grateful she’s alive.
Maxie’s wants Spin to introduce her to his new lady, but Spin doesn’t. Maxie gets upset, saying he’s ashamed of her and then accuses his new love of being threatened by her and wearing the wrong fashion. Maxie storms off.
The lady in white sees Ethan’s cup message and she leaves him one in return. Later on, she returns. Ethan is thrilled to see that she’s real. She plants a kiss on him before taking off.
Sam goes out and buys a home pregnancy test. Jason calls her to let her know about the accident and to meet him at the hospital.
Dante brings Michael in and he’s not interested in anything Carly has to say, so Dante takes him to be checked out while Carly and Sonny continue to argue. Sonny wants her to admit that lying was wrong. Carly wants him to admit that he tried to kill Jax and to swear not to do it again.
Jason shows up and lets Carly know that Michael is angry with both of them and that she needs to give Michael time to cool down. Patrick comes to get Jason, angry that he hasn’t been back for his check up. Jason asks about Robin, but Patrick thinks he’s deflecting. Sam shows up and Jason agrees to take the tests.
Kate tells Carly to leave, but Carly’s not leaving her son. Kate blames Carly for Sonny spiraling out of control. Carly blames Sonny for that. Carly warns Sonny that if anything happens to Jax, she’ll turn him over to the police. She tells him to stay away from Michael. Sonny says Michael is done with her, as is he.
Dante goes back to the hotel to find Lulu waiting for him. He’s worried for Michael. Abby balanced him and he feels Michael will lash out. Lulu says she’s no longer a glass half empty person thanks to him. She says her resolution is to find her bliss, and he’s willing to help her with that. He talks about Sonny’s money and how it would help them. Lulu points out Sonny was going to kill Jax and the money is too complicated. Dante resolves to make this their best year and the two kiss.
Back at the penthouse, JaSam wait for his test results. Jason tells her about Michael. Sam says Michael will be lashing out. Jason says things will be different now, that he almost lost Michael because he was concentrating on Franco and says he’s done chasing Franco and that life needs to be about them.

I like Ewan and I would love to see Liz with someone like Ewan. I still like it when Liz is paired with a bad boy. Liz/Lucky were perfect when Lucky was like a little Luke with Laura's heart. He was like the bad boy. Jason and Liz were perfect because they were so opposite. I loved Zander and Liz but Liz and Ric..one of the most romantic couples because they were sooooooo different. They were so sexy. How Ric use to cry over her.
I was watching old episodes of OLTL and I saw scenes of Patrick and Marty. Maybe they will make Liz and Ewan like them with Ewan talking his poetry..Brown penny brown penny (LOL). Matt just seems so immature compared to Liz. I think it's the way the actor is playing him. He can complain but he needs to not do it like a little kid.
I have no NO idea what they are doing to Alexis. To have Alexis actually blame Carly for Sonny trying to kill him is crazy. Yeah Jax left and wanted to divorce Carly but Sonny was trying to kill Jax because of Brenda not Carly. For Alexis and Kate (!) to talk crazy to Carly is just crazy. I LOVED carly and everything she was saying today especially when she said she would snatch Kate's hair from her scalp. I so wanted her to do that. Why is Kate talking crazy? Why is she even opening her mouth. I wish Mykill would have finish the job when he shot her in the chest. Sonny doesn't care about his kids..he owns them. I hate that character with a passion. She has no class. I can't imagine her running a Burger King much less a high end magazine.
Don't care about Sam getting pregnant. She could always get pregnant, she just can't carry a baby. That's why I hate this storyline. Instead of making her guess who is the father of her baby (BOOO!) why not have a great storyline where JaSam needs a surrogate and Sam gets depressed because she can't experience carrying a child. Sam has yet had a character driven storyline. It's always been about some man or just Jason. I really hope John McBain comes to GH. Caleb and Livvie use to drive me crazy. Their chemistry was off the charts. Their chemistry was so strong you could actually feel it through the tv. Jason couldn't stand a chance.

I have never hated Sonny, Michael, or NOTKate anymore if I tried. Ick. I am not a Carly supporter, but why is everyone mad at HER when all she did was try to keep Jax alive?! SONNY ran Jax out of town!!!!
There was nothing remotely pleasant or watchable on today's episode. Well, Lulu and Dante were kinda cute when she was comparing him to a Golden Retriever, but that's just because I like Golden Retrievers. Good grief, I just realized that THIS was the highlight of the episode. Ugh.

Who in Wardrobe did Laura Wright piss off? That dress was one of the ugliest things they've found in recent memory. Old Yeller, however, was missing one vital accessory, which is to say a muzzle.
The only thing worse than seeing Maxie being sucked back into Spixie hell is watching Matt being pulled into the bottomless pit of need that is Lyin' Lizzie Webber.
Michael just needs to die now, as do Sonny and notKate.
Ron and Frank can't arrive soon enough.

I'd like to know how Carly, Kate and Sonny managed to get down from the hotel restaurant to get to the hospital, if Tracy and Anthony were still stuck in the elevator. The editing department were clearly still on holidays.
The entire Maxie/Spin scenes made no sense. The lady in white suddenly kissing Ethan made no sense. The fact that neither guy was injured in the accident, other than a boo boo for Michael's hand, made no sense.
The fact that Carly not telling anyone that she thought Jax was still alive is somehow a bigger crime than Sonny almost killing Jax in the first place is beyond not making sense.
Good to see Lulu finally realized she needs a job to live.

I happen to be one of the few Carly fans out here and it really pisses me off that everyone...especially Alexis and Kate...are coming down on her like this. I surely would not have told anyone Jax may be alive knowing that it would only endanger his life once again.
Why, oh why did Michael have to be OK? I really can not stand the guy. I don't care how much you're suffering over the loss of your girlfriend, you don't go around making scenes and accusing your mother for lying about something that she had every right to "lie" about. Again, she was trying to keep Jax safe.
So far I'm sorta liking Ewan and Elizabeth...anyone that can get her over her Lucky obsession is OK in my book. Not that I wouldn't have liked to have LL2 again, but since JJ left, this is a nice change. We'll see how badly they screw it up before the new writer/director get there.
I'm so close to giving up on this show, but I'll hold on and see how the new regime does before I leave.

Loving Liz and Ewen! It's so nice to see her smile, it's nice to see someone let her feel her own feelings (happiness, loss, grief, etc) without having to take care of someone else's emotional, mental or physical well-being.
As for Liz sucking Matt in...that is so not what is happening. Matt has constantly approached Liz and butted into her life, not the other way around. Even with their almost kiss, Liz is the one who pulled away. It's not Liz's fault that all these men find her attractive and think she is a wonderful person. I'm sick of people acting like these men have no self-control around Liz because she is casting evil spells or something. It's not her fault that so many men fall for her.
Everything else was crap. Michael should have died and put us out of our misery.
Moral of the story, apparently, is that if you try to kill someone and fail, the people who try to protect your intended victim are evil and you are a tragic, put-upon hero.

Good gosh my second episode of agreeing with Carly while wishing everyone else would STHU. I dislike agreeing with Carly on anything, but she was right on again today. Seriously, all these people being enablers for the rotten mini midget wanna be godfather sickens the beejeesus out of me. Why is it so okay in these people's eyes for Sonny to be allowed to try to kill Jax and such a big travesty for Carly to have kept the secret that Jax was alive????
Liked Liz and Ewen, but I'm still distracted by his chin facial hair as much as I was Lucky's little patches. Matt... well.... he should break up with Maxie if he's going to continue to act jealous of Ewen and Liz. I'm surprised Maxie didn't come around a corner and see Matt and Liz laying on that gurney together. I know this is a soap, and I would love to see Liz get a chance with someone hot and new that she has no history with, but the idea that her maybe therapist thinks it's okay to lay on a gurnery with someone who may be a patient is just wrong to me. But like I said, it's a soap.
Honestly, if Sean's new dog ends up a talking character on this show when the new writers begin, I'm done.

It's like I'm taking crazy pills. This whole attack on Carly MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL. It's not like she helped Jax fake his death and has been purposefully keeping him out of town. She never even 100% confirmed he's still alive. Jax left b/c Sonny tried to kill him and yet it's Carly's fault? Ugh. Normally people ganging up on Carly is called for [and I say that as a Carly fan], but this i one time she actually hasn't done anything wrong/manipulative to mess with people.

i don't mind everyone jumping on the yell at carly train, yes some no right to, but i've hated the shrew since she chased bobby's husband b/c bobby had the audacity to put her up for adoption when she was young and couldn't take care of her.sure those were the wrong people and had stupid reasons to yell at her. but she did set sonny on jax even more than he already was. and carly was always sonny's biggest cheerleader except when he pissed her off, sonny could do no wrong for her.

I am trying to keep a good thought for GH. In fixing this show, some of the characters have got to go. Got tired of Carly years ago. That character is not needed. Fans of gl/atwt/oltl are not going to appreciate the mob either. Short term on atwts, when it was tried, the fan reaction was negative. I feel sorry for this new regime as I am sure they are stuck with some chacters and/or stories. Blood Bath is in order. Just hope it has better ratings than Days seems to be getting.

mistake me if I'm wrong Michael ticked off about Jax? HUH? He said Jax deserved what Stumpy did to him can we get some kind of mention in story when they do a 180 oh that's right GH doesn't roll like that.
Why is it Elizabeth can barely get a sentence of dialog without saying Lucky first & foremost I almost turned the channel. After that I enjoyed her scenes w/Ewen & Matt though the front of his hair is sort of ??? up in the air?

The only part of GH that I enjoyed today were Liz's scenes with Matt and Ewan. It was just refreshing to see people having a conversation and enjoying one another's company. I'd like to see more next year of people not blaming Liz for every single thing that goes wrong!

Im baffled by the alexis carly stuff. I get sonny going beserk because thats what Sonny does and Im not surprised that olivia and diane stood around but didnt we have scenes where alexis said she couldnt believe jax was dead and refused to believe it until there was a body. Wasnt that the point of prompting carly in to a divorce - in case he was alive. Does carly really have any more of a confirmation as to jax's survival than Alexis? I mean the boat told her a little something but for all she knows Jerry is alive and raiding his dead brothers bank account. If Alexis is the bestie, why didnt she have any contact with Lady Jane? The whole story line makes no sense what so ever.
Im over matt and maxie if this is how they are going to write them. If hes still on duty then when were they suppose to go out? Why isnt he getting ready for NYE with his girlfriend instead of sniffing around Liz. And his Liz is great, Liz is horrible ever revolving feelings is making my head spin. Just a week ago (PC time) he was saying how disgusting it was that she was all kinds of lisa niles type crazy. And while I didnt like the early lurking/snarking about maxie stuff, of late he has clearly been the chaser, not the chasee. I dont think Liz can be bashed for matt wanting to play gurney games with her.
And speaking of gurney games - if I came in to a hospital and found staffers lounging around on beds I would be disgusted. The lot of them are proving themselves to be absolutely terrible doctors/nurses. Monica needed to come by and write up all five of them.
