After a day like today when the future of daytime soaps were dealt another blow, I find myself admiring webisoap creators like Gregori J. Martin even more.The hardest working man on the Internet has released a freaking hilarious holiday-themed special episode of his web series The Bay, featuring the sudser's characters in a sitcom setting.

OH ..MY...GOD...hilarious!!!! WOW...i was cracking up the whole time!!! The cast were all wonderful!!! what a amazing idea!!i was so thrown off when i first heard the laughter, but caught on to what i was in for!!! lol THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!!! (wipes tears from my eyes from laughing)

OMG that was hilarious.
Thanks to Gregori and the gang for the laughs, brilliant idea.
I was laughing all the way through, but some of the highlights for me were the cat fight between Sara & Janice, Sara to Janice "You bitch, you have my turkey", the spat between Sara and Marly, Marly to Sara "Mother take a pill will you" Sara to MArly "You kinda look like a slut, i'm sorry".

LOL this reminds me of Absolutely Fabulous the british tv series. Hell if someone did this as a comedic soap I would watch it! Brilliant!

Oh, I was seriously laughing at this! What a fun treat! It's so fun to watch them make fun of themselves and their storylines! The bit with Christine trying sneaking up....HYSTERICAL!

I cannot deny the facts! This show is seriously genius. As if mastering the dramatic format wasn't enough haha. Now comedy is obviously no challenge for The Bay. I almost couldn't help but to roll on my office floor laughing. Can't wait to see the awards this show will be taking home over the next year

Yeah, the fact that it is unscripted, on the spot improv makes it all the more brilliant, what a talented cast and creative team THE BAY has !!
This is what the soap genre needs, fresh ideas from talented folks like Gregori J Martin who have a genuine love for the genre.
