Jeanne Cooper Returns as Y&R’s Katherine Chancellor December 23!

This is extremely good news for The Young and the Restless fans. According to Soaps in Depth, Jeanne Cooper will return to on our screens as Katherine Chancellor on December 23. Cooper has been on a medical leave and the role of Katherine Chancellor is temporarily being filled by Michael Learned.  We can’t wait for Cooper to once again wag her finger in indignation at Genoa City’s upstanding citizens!

At first glance I thought the headline read, "Jeanne Cooper RETIRES...". My heart literally skipped a beat. I am so glad she is able to be back so quickly. I like Michael Learned, but Jeanne IS Katherine!

I'm so happy she is ok and returning to her role. She is the only Mrs. C, rather drunk or sober. Welcome home Jeanne, wish I could say the same thing about returning to the show.

YEA!!!!!!

Can we PLEASE have a JILL AND KATHERINE storyline now?
Kay has been used solely for Tucker for over two years. It was boring from day one, then painful to watch, then unwatchable. Enough of this crap!

How about writing a classic Y$R story using our classic Y&R characters -the ones we really care about? I want to watch how Jill, Kay & the Chancellor family move forward. Did Phillip Chancellor the II have a younger brother? Jill could sure use a man, she's without yet again.

I am so happy that she is okay. I was worried about her!
Can't wait to have her back and thanks Michael for keeping
