Adulterous Affairs Threaten to Rip The Bay Apart!

Today's episode of The Bay could be titled "Who's Screwing Who?' Manny Ramos' (Ignacio Serrichio) romp with the very married Marly Nelson-Foster (Martha Madison) is interrupted by his frantic hermana Janice (Lilly Melgar), while Sara Garrett's (Mary Beth Evans) ex-husband Lee Nelson (Paul Satterfield) faces off with the man she cheated on him with, Lex Martin (Tristan Rogers)!

Poor Will Campbell (Derrell Whitt) is there for Vivian Johnson (Tanisha Lynn), as she comes out of her coma, but all she can think of is how Peter Garrett (Kristos Andrews) was the last boy to break her back. Then there's Peter's big brother Brian (Dylan Bruce), who is desperate to get married before some of his freaky sneaky activities catch up to him. Unfortunately for Brian, his fiance Zoey (Taylor Stanley) ain't hearing that noise! Watch this week's episode of The Bay after the jump!

This was so good. I am very interested in all the storyline especially Lee/Sara/Lex. Who really need Y&R when I have Tristan Rogers on The Bay in a good storyline. I just wish it was much longer..It way too short.

This just keeps getting better and better. Seems 'like mother like daughter' rings true. Anxious to know what Brian's hurry is. Poor Will. He saves her life and she's calling for another man. Tristan Rogers looks divine. So does Lane Davies. Just a glimpse of Jed Allan thrills me. Looking forward to next week.

Loved the fight between Janice and her brother! That's what soaps are all about! Passion, drama, and a hidden mistress overhearing a vital piece of information that she wasn't supposed to know!!!!

Love this show!

Hm, not as impressed as I was with the first ep of this season. I'm not the first person to say this, but considering the team behind this show I expect a lot more. This ep clocked in at 7 1/2 minutes only. The rest was credits and ads. And don't get me started about those pop up ads that obscure the names of the actors in the credits! I'm all for funding your show however you need to--ads, sponsors, subscriptions, whatever--but we really need a lot more uninterrupted story here for fans to get and stay invested. I've said it before on this blog and I'll say it again. I wish I liked The Bay half as much as I like the cast of The Bay. Sorry. Sad

I detest posts that begin with 'Hm..' or Umm..'. So condescending and as if meant to imply that poster's opinion is the only one of value. Most forums (though this is not one) forbids starting posts in such a manner. I can understand why. Wish DC did.

@Suz4th - I'm not the first person to say that The Bay exceeds my expectations, but I don't pump up my opinions by including that unverifiable bit of info when posting them. Rings shallow, and a bit staged, IMO (mine, no one else's, though I can assure you that I am not the first person to say this.)

What I fail to understand is that your biggest complaint seems to stem on the ads that appear with the show. Really? Prime time television must really bother you, as I assume youtube would. Might I suggest clicking the little small 'x' usually found in the upper right hand corner of the ad boxes if you find them so distracting. Considering that The Bay is free to view, high quality, and great storytelling, the inconvenience of an ad popping up (that comes with an option to close) certainly beats the other options. After the opening, uninterrupted story is what you get. Seems to me you are holding The Bay to a different standard than anything else out there online or on TV, but then again, such would be the case if your objective is to complain regardless.

I love The Bay and appreciate the fact that so much effort, time, finances, and sheer love for the craft are being put into it not only to 'save the soap genre,' but to deliver a show worth watching. Fans are invested and they are staying, as is made more than obvious from their social network pages such as Facebook and Twitter. Look them up and you will see that I am not the only one who shares this opinion. If you would like the show to last longer, consider sponsoring it.

Suz4th, I have yet to meet a fan (other than you) that is not impressed with this show. It looks beautiful and the story is marvelous. I'm glad you can appreciate the cast, as I do greatly too. However, the characters written are also very impressive. Yes the episodes are short, and I wish I could watch more just like everybody else, but I also understand that this is an independent show on the web right now and probably doesn't have the backing like a big studio project would to give longer episodes. I said it before and I'll say it again, The Bay is my favorite show. It's the best, easily better than most TV shows.

I love this show! Seriously, after that season opener, I wondered how they'd keep up that sort of momentum. But Gregori and team have done it. Yes, I wish the episodes were longer, but that's because I love what's happening so much that I want more. I love the characters they're choosing to focus on this season, and can't wait for next week's episode.

What a great show. It keeps getting better every week. I love the new twists this season. I can't wait for more. What a great cast Gregori has put together. I can't wait to see Mary Beth Evans and Matt Ashford together.
