The View Wants to Hold a Daytime Republican Debate

The ladies of The View have grilled politicians on their couch, argued the latest hot topics at their table and now they want to host a Republican presidential debate. According to The Huffington Post, “A spokesman for "The View" confirmed that requests have been sent to Republican campaigns but declined to speak further about any interest so far.”
Just how would a Republican debate on The View work? Would Barbara Walters be the moderator? Would Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd participate? If they did, candidates would surely prepare themselves for hostile questioning from Goldberg and Behar. Hasselbeck, The View’s conservative voice on the panel, would probably feel at home at such a debate, but who would have guessed the one-time Survivor competitor might one day be involved in a Republican presidential debate? Do you believe Republican candidates will agree to debate on The View?

that would be an absolute train wreck...I know the Republican candidates don't have much sense but they would be idiots to accept this debate.

I would just have Elisabeth---Whoopie----Barbara do questions
Even though I have similar views as Joy she sometimes cannot decide if she is a comedian or not. With Whoopie she can decypher when she is in comedian mode and in political mood.
Barbara say no more she is pro
Elisabeth---I disagree with her on a lot but she has become a critical thinker and good researcher
Sheree is not critical thinker. She sometimes does not make sense or she has opinions that are based on convoluted logic.
So Sheree and Joy should sit it out.
I can actully see the other three really being good at questioning any politician Republican or Democrat.
The View reaches a huge group of voters including me.

I LOATH THIS SHOW. It is the worst produced show on television. Maybe they will ask Bakman her opinion on abortion in between dishing the latest tweets of the week.

You mean to tell me that Whoppie pans to air out her sweatpants and stop breaking wind long enough to conduct a, "hard interview?" Yeah, right.

Tealita - made me laugh. Uggg - you are so right about her. She is offensive. They are all giving me the creeps lately. Since they were eating burgers and such with the people from the CHEW - I dont watch anymore since the mass murder of our soaps.

giogio--Thanks. I misspelled, "plans," though. I refuse to watch anything on abc dt except GH and OLTL. And I rarely watch anything on their primetime networks, either.

UGH! My stomach just did a few dozen cartwheels. I might be sick.
I enjoy "The View"--with the exception of that foolish hag, Elizabeth Hasslebitch, but I find it disgusting that they are trying to shove Republican agendas down everyone's throats. Good thing I have a strong gag reflex..........and a fresh set of batteries in my remote control.
Besides, they are all a bunch of idiots anyway, for the most part (both Democrats and Republicans!) and I don't trust ANY of them
How do you know that a politician is lying? Because his or her lips are moving!!!

Only time I watched The Few was when they did the AMC tribute on its last day.
And that's all folks...

I am a died in the wool Republican and proud of it, but any Republican who would sit down for and interview (and I use that term loosely) with this panel of harpies, doesn't have the sense to be President. That would go for any Democrat also. And if anyone here is influenced on how they would vote because of ANYTHING this panel of woman would say, then you don't have the sense to even be voting. Make up your own mind, do your own research, stand by your own convictions, just don't be a sheep and let someone else lead you to the slaughter. America did that in the last election and let me just ask, is your life any better?
