Cameron Mathison Hints at Possibility of Susan Lucci and Rebecca Budig on Prospect Park's All My Children
By Luke Kerr on October 27, 2011
Could Rebecca Budig and Susan Lucci be a part of Prospect Park’s All My Children? In an interview with TV Guide, Cameron Mathison hinted not to count them out just yet. When asked about Budig, he responded:
“It sounds to me like she is open to the fact of trying to figure out some possibilities.”
Then he was asked about a Pine Valley without Susan Lucci’s Erica Kane, he answered:
“I don’t think we can say it’s without Susan Lucci. I really don’t. I’ve talked to Susan Lucci and Helmut and I just know it’s not a done deal. I think there is a lot more that are possibilities than are rumored out there.”
Mathison then encourages fans be patient with Prospect Park. Watch the clip after the jump!

Never cared for Cameron, Rebecca's ok but, surely not worthy of an entire show moving. Wonder if he gets residuals from International Male Catalog?

I FLOOVE Rebecca Budig, but we all know that she's notorious for picking up her shovel and pail and leaving the sandbox whenever she THINKS there's a bigger opportunity out there. She's done it before and will undoubtedly do it again. I believe she said in an interview a few months ago that the WRITING for Greenlee was her main motivating factor in staying, not money, but I don't think anyone should count on Rebecca to make a long-term commitment to this show anymore.
And as for Cameron Mathison, I have always liked Cameron, and I have no idea why certain posters on this website like to give him such a hard time, labeling him as the "worst actor in ABC Daytime history". GMAFB! That's patently ridiculous. Have any of you SEEN Andrew Trischitta act? Now THAT'S bad, folks.

I wish PP was a little more forthcoming with information and updates rather than relying on actors (Cameron Mathison and Lindsay Hartley) to make announcements regarding the casting of AMC online. It seems to me that relying on the actors to make these announcements (in Lindsay's case re: VI coming aboard as David) or speculation (in Cameron's case re: SL and RB) takes away from the credibility of PP (really, this is JMHO) and whether or not AMC will ever make it online. This approach to keeping the fans "up-to-date" seems very amateur hour to me.

Iah wah - I feel the same. I thought PP would be interacting with the fans who were left without a show. I understand alot has to be worked out, but that dosent mean they have to be so quiet. There is a way to talk without breaking the legal laws they are trying to uphold. Something big and soon needs to happen for me at this point, because this looks stupid to me now. What about VI? Lindsay said he's coming? Why is she spilling - didnt Darnell say at one of the Tribute shows he didnt realize that people knew he sighed on? Oh Boy!!!

giogio, you're right. It was Darnell that she talked about on twitter, not VI. My mistake.
