I can see SL wanting to move on. If I did a job for 41 years I would feel like retiring also. She has other ventures going on.

AM could still change her mind. Who knows? I prefer her with Grif anyway. But we don't know if he will stay. Did Zack just come back to end show?

Everyone will have to make decision based on where they want to go. I know I am the type of person that would like to be in on this new venture. Down the road everything will be combined anyway. Just a matter of time. A lot of people (especially the younger groups) are watching shows online more and more.

Whatever actors continue on it will get a good story from Ms. Nixon. I look forward to seeing more names

Where else are they gonna go? None of her co-stars have Lucci's stature in the industry; they can't exactly afford to be be choosy.

I could do without CamMat/Ryan, to be honest, but Lindsay Hartley is fine with me.

I much more interested in hearing what *characters* they plan on bringing over. Besides characters like Erica, Tad, Brooke, David, Jesse and Angie, most of the current characters are recastable. Ricky Paull Goldin and Alicia Minshew don't make Jake or Kendall, IMO. Jacob Young is more than replaceable, he could have been gone almost any time during his run as JR.

I don't really watch AMC, but I have tuned into some of it recently. Lindsay has been very good on the show. I absolutely thought she nailed the scenes when Dixie came back. Yeah the story with David was extremely rushed but the material about Tad was out of the ball park good. Better than her work on Days. Better than what I did see of her work on Passions. I think it was a great move to sign her up. Given the right stories, I think Cara could be one of the stars of AMC.

Cameron Mathison took a break from the show years ago to try and become a movie star/prime-time star..

On that SOAPnet show hosted by actor Wally Kurth, he said that him & wife were talking things over and one day he decided to call the All My Children producers because he wanted to go back to the show since nothing was lining up. But then he said the day before he was going to call, the AMC producers called him first.

and that was that.

Linsay Hartley's husband just got done with SMALLVILLE so idk what he's doing now. She might have become the breadwinner.

I don't understand all the hate for Cam? I got tired of Greenlee & Ryan swallowing the canvas but as actor I like him. I'm one that is glad he's moving to new version.

It's funny cause unlike OLTL - I feel that more then half of AMC's cast could leave and I wouldnt care. I care about a lot of the OLTL characters and those who play the roles and hope many make the move.... I have lost a lot of that love for the AMC characters, as a lot of them have been destroyed or over played!

At this point we know JR, Angie, Kendall and Greenlee are NOT crossing over! I dont know why - but I have this feeling Susan will have a change of heart now that Frank V is running the daytime piece of Prospect park. He understands and respects that fans love their vets.
I wouldnt care if Colby, Caleb, Asher, Scott, Madison, Randi or Liza left the show. In fact I hope they dont crossover.

I think for this show to make it to the web-- they need to make offers Susan Lucci, Vincent I, Cady M, Ricky P.G, Chrishell and Michael E cant refuse. If these 6 sign on plus Cam and Lindsay.

I said in a another post that I think they shoudl bring back Brooke and Gillian and bring back Marj as Vanessa and Eden R as Bianca. Keeping the Bianca/Marissa romance moving forward. I also think they could recast lots of older characters like Laura and Kelsey. I also think they could recast JR with a strong 30something yr old actor (maybe the guy who played Nash on OLTL) and def. Liza with a more mature power house of an actress who has a strong fan following from another show......... heck Genie Francis wants a role that is a strong woman--- LIZA COLBY fits that bill!!!!!

If Ryan will be there, Greenlee needs to be there. I am hearing Rebecca Budig is not going to go over. They should recast Greenlee with Victoria Pratt, she played Shalimar on Mutant X. Google her, I think she would make a good Greenlee recast. I doubt Sabine Singh would come back...though I would love that too.

I am very happy about this, but reading the previous post PP is taking their sweet ass time and Y&R is on the prowl. I still cant understand why they are taking so long to approach. Legal issues is one thing, but non-commital conversations can be had. I love Cameron and Lindsay. Im glad she is there. Ive only watched ABC soaps and now Y&R and you guys know other actors from GL and ATWT who have not been seen since the cancelations. There are probably alot of great actors around who can replace the people who are not going with PP. I say Tamara to replace Kendall if Alisha dosent want to go. We have Natalia Livingston, Greg Vaughn, Tyler Christopers from abc who can do good with amc. You guys know anymore from any of the other soaps? Come on, we can put this cast together in 5 minutes.

I'm not a Ryan fan, by any stretch, but Cameron is a pretty big get for Prospect Park so I'm very happy about that. I did read somewhere (sorry would post a link but I read a lot yesterday) that Rebecca Buding was expected to carry over onto webAMC.

As far as Lindsay Hartley goes, she has been such a breath of fresh air. I'm way excited about this news. She could be one of the central characters. It feels like she's been on the canvas forever and its only been such a short time. Normally I would be mad that a new(er) character was getting so much screen time but she has chemistry with everyone. Her and Tad were very unexpectedly great together. Cara and David are incredible. Supercouple material. Vincent Irizarry is the best actor on AMC and in soaps, IMO. If they get him they will have completely convinced me this could work. He shares more scenes with a broader group of characters than anyone else on the show and has a history with just about everyone, their parents, and their kids. If Lucci doesn't come over its a big hit, but they need to use as much of that money on VI as he wants.

This is the first time I've been excited about AMC's move because I seriously had my doubts they would follow through with it.

Been thinking and not sure how this will sit with long-time viewers of AMC. I myself being relatively new to AMC (watched off & on) but consistently now, I feel they could recast "Kendall". This is not a jab at AM, because I do like her and especially with "Grif". I was a fan (not die hard fan) of Zendall. If TK doesn't move forward or if he does that be a great triangle which could be exciting to watch. Zach being dark, where Grif is a good guy and I like that about him and Kendall. Kendall always goes for the bad boys, it's time she showed maturity in men. I still think PP needs to bring home Brooke if no "Erica". I like PP to keep Bianca w\Christina Bennett Lind, I like her. I like how CBL has made Binks to grow. I still say age Miranda as teen and start the Mona\Erica relationship all over. Binks is more like Mona, Miranda is like her grandmother Erica. It would make interesting dynamic and you would have to age Spike at the same time. If we can't have SL, let the next generation of "Kane" women continue as life does happen. If AM doesn't want to stay full time I feel AMC needs Kendall as major present and will need to recast...I say Gina T. would be a perfect Kendall. Now this is where I'm confused, "Liza", I will admit I have gotten used to Jamie Lunar if they recast the role of Liza, my choice if PP could arrange it is "Cynthia Watros" because only seeing Marcy the 2nd time around (some) on AMC, not knowing her from the the "80s I think Cynthia could play Marcy's type of Liza. I just don't think Michael K, will stay. RPG maybe. I personally don't feel GF (after watching her on Y&R) could play Liza personally. If they wrote Brooke back in and like many stated recast her daughter Laura in the form of Maura West...next generation of cat-fighting between Erica & Brooke's daughters.

@Harlee: It is time that Agnes and PP call up Eden and offer her a contract stat to return in the role of Bianca. She can lead the show. She has the fan base and Both Lorraine and Agnes would write her excellent story. When it comes to Liza you need Kim Johnston Ulrich (ex-Ivy, Passions). She has what it takes to tackle the role. This is from a long time viewer. AMC would also do well to get Maria back. From there Palmer, Brooke, Adam and Tad have countless children between them that could be brought on the series as young adults. I've stated before that a return of Noah from the dead would work right along with bringing on a love interest for Jesse if the actor remains or not. My thoughts were having Shari Headley (ex-Mimi) return from the FBI to either work for PVPD as an investigator or second in command or take over the PVPD as Chief should Darnell Williams choose not to return. Then you bring her daughter Danielle Frye and even Derek Frye her ex husband. Then here is Olivia and Tom's adopted son Jamal they could bring back as played by Lawrence Saint Victor. Having him butt heads with Frankie would be great. And for good-sakes recast Randi!

DAVID46208 Sounds good, I guess we are all putting the cart before the horse. I liked all what you stated, honestly don't know some characters. This is personal taste and my opinion but after watching her on Y&R I'm just not a fan of ER. NOW, having said that maybe as Bianca maybe it would be different. PP needs when they secure actor rather if it's the current actor or recast (with named actor) to give fans some kind of excitement and hope. It would help the fans to be excited about moving to the web. It they wait to long and keep fans in the dark I'm afraid they will lose their audience.

I like Cam, but I hate Ryan. I might be able to stomach him if they don't bring Greenlee as well. I don't want her back. I never got over Greenlee actually being upset that people weren't forgiving her fast enough for hurting Spike. Yes, it was an accident--one precipitated by a felony kidnapping!

Cameron is a terrible actor. He really has nowhere else to go.

I just read from SOD (its posted today) that if things can come together and be worked out Alicia Minshew just might move to online version possibly meaning full time. This would be HUGE for AMC and if PP could move AMC back East where Alicia's husband's business is located would be wonderful....keep your fingers crossed AMC could benefit if this is true.

I just saw a glimpse of Marcy on one of those repeat eps of AMC the other day. I had a little tug in my heart. I have loved Marcy Walker since day one on Santa Barbara. I did not really watch much of her work on AMC but she was very very good as Liza. I wish she would have a change of heart and go back to acting. She is one of the best daytime ever had. Easily on my top 10 actress list. Cynthia Watros can do anything she wants to do. I could overlook the age problem for her to play Liza. Or better yet just find a new role for her!
