If they ever do bring Diane back, I hope it's in the form of Susan Walters, Colleen Zenk or someone better suited for the role, and I hope like hell that the writing is up to par and that they can UNASSASSINATE her. But then again, we all know who is writing this show.

Have not liked Diane. This time around she came off as whimpy and weak. Her kid seems to be more of an adult than she is.

I'm starting to wonder if Sharon is really safer in jail. I hate to ask, just exactly where is rock bottom with this character? I'm still waiting for her to rise up like we were promised.

Good observation alstonboy; I've thought for awhile now(at least since ATWT was cancelled) that Colleen Zenk would be a good match against Eric Braeden but it never occurred to me that she would be good as Diane. Makes sense though; she'd be a lot more realistic in the role--Maura West seemed out of place in scenes with Braeden, Peter Bergman, and Melody Thomas Scott.

Can Adam please be the one who murdered Diane? After seeing the preview for Tuesday's show, I'm disgusted by the character even more. Who am I kidding; they'll just say he did it but it will really be someone else. It always works that way for him, Victor, and Phyllis. Nothing new. I'm guessing Ronan will be investigating Diane's murder. I hope this doesn't bring Heather back.

I have KNOWN since day one that Colleen was MADE for a role like Diane. Diane has bits and pieces of Barbara Ryan in her, and she is also the perfect AGE to portray this character. Theoretically, it could have been great, with the proper writing. But I couldn't bare to see Colleen, reduced to playing a character who is now nothing more than a high-priced hooker. With the disgusting character assassination that Diane has received, I am kinda glad they didn't get Colleen for it.

Ahhh! Sharon stuffed between two men like a pork belly between two buns… woman loves her meat, eh???

Lets see... we've got the CIA, the FBI, and the WSB, and the Keystone Kops bumbling about in every jurisdiction as usual... yet rampant crime galore... YAY! Things are back to normal! I was getting worried...

Alsotonboy I never agree with you on anything but I think we found common ground. I too don't believe Diane is really going to "die" Y & R is following in the footsteps of days with bringing back the dead. And I agree CANE should really be dead!!!

Yay, Ronan is back! I don't particularly like him but it means screentime for Nina. I wonder if he's a bad guy who stole Chance's kidney or if it was all a misunderstanding.

The character of Diane has been DESTROYED in my eyes thanks to this stint. I would only accept Alex Donnelly in the role again, so if Y&R can't get her, don't bother.

Victor ending up in jail sounds good but will likely only last a day or two because Victor never loses.

Kyle will return a teenager, mark my words.

Diane's "killer" will probably turn out to be Skye, hired by Adam to do his dirty work. She'll get caught and save Sharon in the process. It's Y&R's latest "umbrella story".

Of course Diane isn't murdered for real. This is MAB's version of Genoa City. Nobody ever dies for real here. Gee, I even believe that Skye isn't dead and will show her face again to take this show to another level of insanity.

It's getting really upsetting and as much as I love this show, it's almost as hard to watch these days as it was to the LML time.

And so ... Shadam used to be this conventional love story that MAB and team wanted everyone to talk about. It was the way of redeeming him ... and now???
They killed this with Sharon behaving like Barbie without a brain and Adam returning to his evil self.
Instead loser Sam is the next big goal. I swear if I hear the name Sherry one more time out of his mouth I try to attempt a murder on my TV.

Tucker storyline is BORING as hell. Over a year they do nothing with Katherine and Tucker and now they come up with this crap.

Also don't like the character assassination of Billy Abbott. It's just all so sad these days.

Glad to neither see or read anything about the Atkinson clan.

I think Maria Arena Bell has done a good job with this storyline. She's had the heavy burden of writing off a fantastic actress and letting said actress ride off into the sunset with dignity.

Plus, it gives more airtime to the beautiful and talented Julia Pace Mitchell. I hear they is gonna write a big story for her this fall that will bring most of the cast into Sofia's storyline. I love this news so much!!!

I am going to miss seeing Maura West.. even though Diane was horrendous, my ATWT loving heart is sad.

Can you please explain your adoration and fasciation with JPM? I do think she is beautiful, and I don't mind the character of Sofia, but it is evident to EVERYONE that she is extremely limited in the talent department.

At first I was convinced you were her part of her PR team, but you seem to comment on all soaps and storylines, current and past. What is it about JPM that warrants a screen name, picture, and endless amounts of praise?

I am glad that Shadam are finally done for good! I hated that sickening coupling from the get-go. Sharon needs to be kept away from men for a long, long time.

Sharon is a completely ruined character. I don't know what to do with her anymore. Even without men ... her choices are stupid. I can't think of a story that makes this character work again. Sharon once was one of Daytime's most popular heroines. Now she's a complete joke. And no Sam nor a life without men could change that. The past is written and it won't be forgotten.

First, why would Diane be suing Nikki? I dont really recall them being in a lot of scenes together, so I cant think of what this lawsuit could be about. Second, Im not looking forward to seeing Jack going on his talk show circuit to talk about Jabot. I like him as a character but Im sick of hearing him talk about Jabot! It seems like conversations about Jabot have been the only thing he has talked about since Patty/Emily left town. Surely there is more to this man than this company. Im already tired of Sharon and Adam. I find Phyllis disgusting these days...I literally cant stand her anymore!

On a side note, has anyone else noticed how horrible Sams makeup has been lately! Who ever does it should be fired. I was so distracted by that horrendous makeup line he had going the other day that I have no idea what he said. Also they probably shouldnt leave his hand so pasty if he is going to be touching his face...

It will remain status quo until there are some behind-the-scenes shake-ups. Maria needs to fire her co-head writers to start.

Emblazoned, thanks for asking the question. I have wondered about this too. I am not hating on JPM -- but she is mediocre at best and truly does not warrant any fan's undying love and support. (She has not been on the scene long enough.) Her WTD storyline is a re-hash that we do not need to revisit.

Nothing against the actors because I like them both but I think its time for Adam and Sharon to be written off. They serve no function anymore. I dont see how Maria could salvage them at this point.

miztee246 ... most on here seem to have faves that they rave about and JPM just happens to have her followers as well. (I don't have any complaints about her but then I'm not a member of SAG for obvious reasons.)

Ryan-Scott ... I think that little list yours could quite easily be added to by any number of regulars in here. I doubt that those two are going anywhere all that soon though.

Speaking of Adam ... AlistairCrane posted a few threads back that even he was taken aback by what he did during that lovely little jail block wedding ceremony, so I was prepared for something; but certainly not that. I do have mixed feelings regarding Sharon's "infidelity" so I sort of understand where Adam is coming from considering his former devotion to her. I just did not expect his reaction to the perceived "betrayal" to be such a vicious and cruel 180 degree turn. That was a low and pointless blow even for him so I guess that will be part of the plot for while to come.

I am so glad Diane is going after the town of GC because she is calling all these people on their lies and deceits. But is does bother me a lot because men want to hurt a woman just because she doesn't do what they want her to do. MAB is really sick.
