Great news for One Life to Live fans! John Loprieno and Andrea Evans are reprising the roles of legendary supercouple Cord and Tina. According to ABC Soaps In Depth both actors will return this September. Watch a classic scene for Cord forcing Tina to confess Gabrielle’s (Fiona Hutchison) baby switch after the jump!

I'm one of those people who never understood why the character of Tina Lord was so popular.
I also don't understand why they didn't bring Cord and Tina's kids, CJ and Sarah, back to the show. OLTL should use legacy characters like this to bring a few more young adults to the cast.

Hopefully Cord and Tina reunite and ride off into the sunset together.
Andrea Evan will likely only appear in a handful of episodes--B&B issued a statement congratulating her on returning to the soap that made her famous and also confirming she will remain on B&B in a recurring capacity.

Also regarding their kids, weren't there rumors that Erin Torpey could be coming back to play Sarah? And still the idea that Cutter was CJ, though that wouldn't make sense anymore.

Tina is coming back!!! She's my all-time favorite soap character. Even if it's only for a few episodes, I'm happy. She and Cord need to reunite. Hopefully they'll be some Tina/Viki/Todd scenes too. Btw, looking at that clip, how amazing was Andrea Evans' hair in the 80's?!!

Andrea Evans and Tina are both long time favorites and as I still work today with my favorite female characters, I've always accepted Cord and the stick he keeps in his butt because Tina loves him.
my favorite Tina and Cord moment: Tina interupting Cord's wedding to Kate with Al Holden in her arms. Could that have been 24 years ago? OLTL sure was good back then.

I know Tina has never been what you would call a "serious" character, but I hope they don't write her silly like the last time she came back to Llanview. It was just a waste of AE in my opinion. She reminded me of Goldie Hawn in that movie Death Becomes Her.
Loved that film, and that role, but I don't want to see Tina Lord in that silly role, lol.
