Who Will Sarah Brown Play on Days of Our Lives?!

Soap Opera Digest just tweeted that Sarah Brown has snagged a role on Days of Our Lives! No word on who the Daytime Emmy winner will be playing. All I can say is I hope the character has the surname Brady, Horton, DiMera, Reed, Kiriakis, Roberts or Carver (What? It could happen!), because the last thing Salem needs is another new, unconnected character, even one played by a soap legend.

Sarah Horton.
I don't like the idea of Days bringing on ANOTHER ex-Carly Roberts when the last one just failed so horribly. And there is something about Sarah Brown that just irks me. I liked her on VR Troopers but that was it.

I can't see her being a Brady---the only female Bradys not on the show are Jeannie, Stephanie and Cassie, and Sarah Brown is too old for those roles.
There aren't any female DiMeras out there except for Kristen Blake, and she's too young for that role.
For someone born in 1975, she is in the perfect age range for Sarah Horton, who was born in 1981 but last played by someone born in 1974.

I don't want to see Sarah Brown playing some boring heroine. She is best suited for bad girl roles. I don't remember much about the Sarah Horton character, but if she does bring her on, she can be a vixen, and we can show Maggie trying to rehabilitate her and get her to change her ways.
And I LOVE Sarah Brown to death. I don't want to see DAYS waste her talents like Brad Bell did on B&B. I hope these new writers have something interesting in store for her.

Sarah Horton hasn't been seen since 1991, so she is essentially a blank slate. She could be a heroine or a bitch.
FYI: Sarah used to be friends with Carrie---what if she's back to try to break up Carrie and Austin?!

She should come back from Asia with Lucas as his girlfriend/fiance. Put her in a story battling Sami, and maybe a quadrangle w/her/Sami/Rafe/Lucas. I cannot care about any of this casting until I hear Bryan Datillo is coming back.

According to Ken Corday (whose word is worth about as much as an empty tube of toothpaste), the show will renew its focus on its core families. If that is true, then I do not expect her to be a Taylor recast or someone with no ties to Salem.
"Soap legend"? I only know Sarah Brown's work from ATWT where she played a misconceived, poorly defined plot-device of a character, Julia Larrabee. Maybe she was more impressive on GH, but on ATWT I didn't see anything special.

Sarah Horton is my guess too. Another fun possibility would be Shane's daughter Eve Donovan. She used to be married to Jack, was an awesomely conniving vixen, and would give Jack and Jennifer something to do besides Jack trying once again to prove his worthiness to Jennifer.

Days is the only soap currently airing that I haven't ever watched and even my beloved Sarah J. Brown cant make me. I followed her to ATWT and loved her but hated the storyline and Maura West's Carly. I had tried and dismissed B&B years before due to their constant and unending focus on Brooke, who I liked, and Ridge who I didn't. B&B is a half hour show with an hour show sized cast, I knew SJB would be wasted. So, even if I were minutely interested in DOOL and I am not, I am not taking the bait.

Wow how depressing that another great actress goes to Days. Hopefully she hates it or is let go really fast like Tamara and get a better gig. I was hoping that she can return as Claudia on GH and that Franco staged the body found in the explosion.
I don't even remember a Sarah Horton. Sounds like an ancient character like Mickey Horton.

Oh, man, I couldn't stand her on GH both times.
Someone asked if Neil was alive when he left the show and yes, he was.
Also, Stefano had a daughter back in the 80's, Renee, who was killed by the Salem Strangler. So, Lexie is not his only daughter, though he doesn't talk about Renee at all.
I hope she's not as over powering in this show as she was on GH.

Y2Jin99, totally disagree. Maggie absolutely needs a daughter in town. She spends all her time giving advice to randoms like Melanie when in reality she should be supporting Melissa and Sarah.
Personally I would support a Sarah/Lucas/Sami triangle if Lucas returns, since not only are he and Sarah NOT blood-related, he has never even met her.

Sarah Brown is an excellent actress IMO. I hope DAYS uses her well and better than Brad Bell did on B&B.
