Y&R's Genie Francis Gets "Pretty"

According to We Love Soaps, The Young and the Restless star and General Hospital alum Genie Francis has signed onto Pretty The Series. Francis will appear as a special guest star during Season 3 of the web comedy. For now Pretty creator Steve Silverman is keeping mum on the star's' role. Look for Francis to reunite with her former GH 'mom' Denise Alexander (Lesley), who also stars on Pretty!

Boy, some of you are mean! I don't expect to like every character or actor on my shows. After the all, the shows are writing for just me. But to attack Genie's looks is uncalled for.

Genie does not fit on Y&R. The Genevieve character is awful. And Y&R fans don't want GH rejects hogging airtime on our show.

Great news, love that Genie is going to be on Pretty the Series.
How fantastic it will be to see Genie with Denise again. I've never
watched the web series before, but sure will now!
I became a fan of Y&R because of Genie. Just wish she was on that show
more. And of course, I wish GH would beg her to come back to her
signature role of Laura Spencer. Oh, how I miss Laura.
I don't know how Genie does it, but she's more beautiful than ever!

Well, I personally think she looks fantastic! And can't wait to see her and Denise together again. Will admit that Laura will always be my favorite of her characters. But she brought me back to Y&R. Genevieve isn't like any other character she's played before which is, understandably, difficult for some to accept. Some may never accept it. But then Genie's always had her naysayers. She has enough longtime fans that negative statements don't bother me as a rule.
In fact, I've often wondered if longtime Y&R fans didn't have a problem with all the old GH actors coming to the show. But it won't just be GH actors anymore. Y&R will be the last soap standing, which means the cream of the crop from ALL the shows will be invading before you know it.
Oh, and one last thing - I have never once been disappointed by Genie. That continues today. I don't see it ever changing.

Genie Francis is a GREAT actress----when she's playing Laura Spencer! It's just so very WRONG that she's on Y&R in this stupid role delivering an over-the-top performance (and not in a good way) when she should be on GH playing her signature role.
