I don't want her to be Sara, too much bad Karma with Cris there. But I do love seing these two back together. I actually don't care who she plays as long as Cris gets an HEA on his way out the door!

I hope she is Sarah Roberts. It would make so much more sense than Cristian leaving with a random newbie. I always loved Jessica and Cristian so I am glad we get to "them" together one last time!

Don't forget that these two also dated in real life back in the day. Looks like they remained friends which is nice.

My memory says onscreen and off for David and Erin. She along with KMc from GH are 2 of my favorite examples of child actors who made beautiful transitions. I really hope Ron C. does better than he has with Florencia/Tea and Gina/Kelly.

Erin and Bree look so similar that it only makes sense for their characters to be cousins. Plus, Cristian has a history with Sarah so him leaving town with her makes sense.

She was the girlfriend of a guy I worked with in college over the summer. I randomly spoke to her on the phone one day when she called to speak with him. I was so into OLTL and this guy didn't even know the name of the show she was on--he randomly mentioned his girlfriend was on a soap and I had to quiz him for a few minutes before I could figure out who she was. Hilarious, in retrospect.

If she's Sarah, then that would mean Cris is getting a "happy ending" with a woman he was very happy to cheat on and string along. It would also be official confirmation that Tina and Cord are probably not coming back, since this appearance seems to only be returning briefly for scenes with Cris.

How would Sarah appearing mean no Cord and Tina? LOL! That's a bit of a gap in logic!

OLTL stopped being "amazing" when they threw Marty under the bus. I'm not sad to see it go.

Not really, considering all the publicity has focused on her being reunited with Cris. Nothing about Cord or Tina. If this is a very short return, centering on Cris, then they would have no time to have her in scenes with her parents.

The problem with Sarah is she was a non-character. She went from a "rock" singer who wanted to hump her cousin to a mannequin who mainly just stared at Cris.

That's why I don't see how casting Erin in the role, for some cameo, is a genius move. She is essentially a stranger. They may as well do what they did with Jessica Tuck when Jake left, and cast Erin as a stranger Cris meets for the first time. It doesn't look like she will have anything to do with the Buchanans (which makes sense, because we don't want to take away from Bree Williamson Mugathon #493), so they may as well make her a stranger.

You're assuming she needs to share scenes with her parents. She doesn't.

That's the same type of bad writing which said Tina didn't actually need to have more than a handful of scenes with Viki, Todd, or David in her return. Sarah as a character on her own was a big flop. Bringing her back just to ignore her roots for a third time is pointless, especially if it's for a boring relationship with actors I don't remember having all that much chemistry in the first place.

Tina and Cord exist independently of their children. They are more important than Sarah and CJ and therefore can appear on their own without the kids. Sarah can return for a stint in September and Tina can return in November without having to cross paths with her kids. Remember, she has a sister Viki and brother Todd, and they are actually current characters on the show.

Yes. I meant the names to be the same but was half-asleep at the time I put this in, so just kept it, LOL.

Tina and Cord can exist independently of their kids, but I guess I don't see why, when the show is ending, they would bring back Sarah and have her with Cris, instead of with her parents. The family is already so splintered as it is. I suppose I would be more at ease if I knew they were bringing Tina and Cord back, but after what happened with Tina the last time I'm not sure they will bring her back again. And if they don't, but they bring Sarah back, it seems pointless to me. Erin Torpey is such a warm and refreshing presence, she could play any role.

I'd just rather see Cristian leave town with Erin's Sarah than an Erin-played random. The latter just seems too much like Rebecca's exit from GH with "Zander".

I think it’d be fine if she’s Sarah (and I do agree that at least it’s a familiar face with a familiar name to the canvas who actually KNOWS Cris and had a relationship with him). I mean, does it really matter anyway??? From what's said, it’s a cameo that I hear only lasts a few episodes at best. Tina and Cord could always come back later at the grande finale and mention them in passing, if need be, like they always do on these shows. (We never see Kevin and Cord, but at least we know they exists, which is more than I can say for shows that don't mention anyone not on canvas at that moment.)

I see it as they needed a way to get Cris off the show, while at the same time giving him some sort of HEA, so they’re tossing old Cress fans a bone and bringing in ET as a character already known to the canvas with a connection to him. Perhaps I wasn’t paying much attention during the Flash/Cris years, but given that he’s been backburned for I don’t know how long now, giving him screen time with a former successful on(and off)screen love interest in this manner is the least they could do for him at this point. I guess they could do more, but, since the show's ending, it really is what it is at this point, I guess.
