Why bother bringing back such an irrelevant character when they only have SIX months to tie up loose ends and finish this show off STRONG?

I enjoyed Amanda Setton in the role, but really.......why???????

It's time for OLTL to get their priorities in order, casting-wise, and start getting rid of all the dead weight.

Why would they bring back this actress after she snubbed her nose at them? For a while it looked like they were trying to mold Rama into the new Kimberly.

I was one of the ardent fans of the Sky/Gigi/Rex/Stace/Oliver/Kyle/Kim group, but these are characters (save for Rex, I guess . . .) that aren't necessarily needed come finale time. It's unfathomable to me that we might gain Kim for the finale when we know DORIAN, Kelly, Joey, and Cris are all leaving early, four characters who absolutely, no matter what, should be part of OLTL's ending.

I think Kim will be short visit for like David & Clint. Maybe finally learn the secret that took her out of Llanview

I don't think she is necessary, nor do I think she'll be on the show for any more than a handful of episodes, but I am looking forward to discovering the secret that drove Kim out of Llanview.

That being said, if this is the type of character OLTL is going to bring back for their last months, then shoot me now!!!

When OLTL promised to bring back characters from the past before it ended, I guess I just assumed they were talking possibly Dr Wolek, Karen Wolek, Aunt Wanda. Herb Calliston.

I will say, the short time she played Kimmie I did like her.

One Life to Live has SEVEN months to go (five-six in terms of taping). Plenty of time to "bring back" characters (a new post-cancellation practice I roll my eyes at all the time). Time to tell quite a few stories. It's not going off the air in 2 weeks, you know.

We're not going to be getting the "characters from the past" like any Woleks or Tina or such until the fall. AMC had to announce all it's returns because it will be gone in September. OLTL will probably have a fairly "typical" summer, and then go down Memory Lane/Victory Lap in the fall.

I liked Kim and really adored the Kim/Clint coupling but I am not all that eager to see her return now that the show is ending. These last few months should be used to redeem Clint a bit more and get him and Viki back together as far as I'm concerned.

And I loved those scenes between Alexandra and Eric especially the slap. As much of a fan of Marj Dusay I am and how much I enjoyed her for the most part as Alexandra, I can't help but wonder how different some of the storylines for the character may have gone if Beverlee had continued playing the role. Dusay always struck me as the "show must go on" trooper type of actress who would gamely play anything thrown her way no matter how preposterous while Bev was more of a fighter for the integrity of the character she played and would have opposed some of the out of character crap GL had Alexandra doing.

I don't really trust OLTL to bring back any old faves. After what they did to Marty, and with their current storylines and their focus on the Fords and newbies, I just don't have any faith in this regime. I think the only "get" will be Andrea Evans as Tina.

I liked Kim but with the show ending I want the only reurning characters to be of some importance to the show's past and history(Karen, Larry, Cord, Tina etc.)

Lets see what plays out It could just be a few days. Guys the show has 7 months left on air. Thats A lot of time to tell story & bring back folks

Well, I'm praying Marty will get a reprieve for the finale, but her ending felt incredibly final. Unless TK and BB agree to come back, too and Patrick/Marty bust Cole out of Statesville and they end on some kind of very uncharacteristic rogue note. I'd give anything to have Susan Haskell back for a proper resolution for this show's most important heroine after Viki.

I was sure DG would be back as Kevin, but for what if his two most significant ties, Kelly and Joey will be gone? I'm thinking we might get Tina & Cord . . . I was counting on Cassie and Adrianna, but I guess that's out the window with Dorian and Kelly leaving (so Blair and her demon spawns will be the only Cramer's left in Llanview?!?) I really don't know who will be pulled out of the attic . . . ???

I'm crossing my fingers for the same thing.

I think Kevin will be back for at least an appearance because he does have his parents and sisters still in Llanview. Perhaps he will show up with Cassie, having reunited off-screen? Then both Buchanan brothers get their happy endings with Cramer women.

I am happy to hear this news. I hope she and Clint are end game. I do not want Viki to get back with Clint; I doubt she would forgive all his hideous actions this year.

This just proves that One Life to Live is ran by idiots. The show is cancled and they choose to bring back this chick? Meanwhile they can't even keep Dorain, Kelly and Marty on for the final few months. This show is a mess and will go out a mess. If Valentini and Carlivati really cared about giving the show a proper ending they would be brining back character like Tina, Cord, Kevin, Cassie, Larry, Wanda, Rafe, Delila, Max, Gabrielle and others instead.

I loved the character of Kim..can't wait to seen what happens between her and Clint. I am sure Clint's daughters will be thrilled, lol.

I agree OLTL has the entire Fall to bring back the long lost beloved characters for the final ending....hope they do it right.

And Kim was a fun character, and her return would impact both Clint and David, so story-wise it makes sense. There are a lot of months left, and they are still trying to tell story, whereas a Larry or Wanda or Rafe or Delila return doesn't really propel story at all. Frankly, while those characters may have been big tent pole characters at their time, they don't really fit in with the current canvas. It would seem like old-home week just for the sake of old-home week.

Looks like I am in the minority. I too am excited to see Kim back in Llanview.

I still think OLTL has a small chance of surviving cuz the ratings keep going up and they might find a new home.

I am excited for Kim's return and can't wait to see how the story plays out. Just because Amanda Setton is returning does not mean others cannot. And as previous posts have pointed out, there is still seven months of the show left for many more returns!

I never liked the Kim character because of her association with the Stacy Morasco storyline, and I didn't care about her phony marriage to Clint either! Why are they bringing this newbie character back when we need to get rid of all the other newbies on the show like Aubrey, Cutter, Rama, Vimal, Deanna, and Baz? The TPTB should bring the old veteran characters back instead!

Yeah! I was so looking forward to Natalie and Kim getting into it on a regular basis because of Clint. I thought the fact that Natalie's new step-mother was about five to six years younger than she was coupled with Viki's shocked look was all kinds of awesome!

I doubt if AS is going to be on the show very long since OLTL has another six months to wrap things up and there are rumors that some characters will be gone by September.

For all we know, she's only coming back for one day to pop in as Clint recovers from his transplant. One day in the makeup chair does not mean a front-burner storyline.

They need to PURGE half the cast as soon as possible and make the final few months about the vets and returning faves.
