Congratulations are in order for departing General Hospital star Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo and hubby Carmine Giovinazzo. Marcil slipped the news in at the end of a recent tweet.
"keep your ideas coming moms...pitched some to the kings of baby products today and ur ideas R exciting to the big shots! im pregnant btw :)"
Carmine Giovinazzo stars on the CBS crime drama CSI: NY.

He capered and jigged through every scene. Perfect counterpoint to...whatever it is that Genie Francis is doing/trying to do.

She's a lovely woman and all the best to her and her husband for a safe pregnancy and delivery.
Correct me if I'm wrong. I believe I read a spoiler that gave the impression that her exit as Brenda would include an unborn child and that she does not tell Sonny.
My regret is that , with what I remember of her portrayal during her previous comeback,(2003), she did not live up to the advance billing that was lavished on her.
This is one page that is ready to be turned and forgotten.

There's nothing unkind about your comments. I have said it many times, as have COUNTLESS others, both on this soap blogging website and others. I have only witnessed a HANDFUL of viewers who have actually enjoyed her return. GH did Vanessa and her fans a disservice by bringing her back with such a crappily written story. However, the writing was only ONE piece of the puzzle that contributed to her latest stint being horrible. The fact that she seemingly forgot how to act convincingly between 2003 and 2010 certainly didn't help matters.
Bob Guza has turned Brenda into a whiny, insufferable brat. I tried to like her, but his writing has made it damned near impossible. I wish her well, but hope she won't darken the doorstep at GH again until she's taken some acting classes and Garin has crafted her a DECENT story.

She is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN ALIVE (next to the other Vanessa Williams, that is).
But her husband is only a 2 on a 1 to 5 hot scale.
