Yes, no, maybe? That seems to be the question regarding Sam (Kelly Monaco) wanting to have Jason's (Steve Burton) baby. Now that Sam's gotten the OK from doctors to have a baby, should Sam have Jason's child?
I am so disturbed by the whole story. I know there are fans of Jason and Sam but how can anyone be okay with this couple having a baby to replace Jake? I know, I know, JaSam fans will go into "Jason and Sam have always wanted a baby." but that's not true. The writers should be ashamed of themselves for shoveling this tripe. The actors are fine and Kelly Monaco should really have her own story and not be Jason's appendage.
First off, I think Jake is alive and secondly I think Jason should get Sam pregnant right as we find out Jake is alive. That would make for the best drama!
I don't think it's the right time for them to have a child. But Sam has wanted a child for a long time, I don't think she needs Jason to have a baby. And, it's not like she's getting any younger. She should do what's right for her. Jason doesn't seem emotionally ready for a child right now.
I want Sam to have her baby, as that is what she has always wanted. Her emotions about a possible pregnancy says it all. I am just not sure she should have a baby with Jason until he starts treating her better and putting her first. I want her to be with someone that treats her as she should be treated. Jason has been far from it for a long while.

When she follows Jason out on a job is she going to put the baby in a back pack, dress him/her in all black and drinking out of a gun shaped bottle while wearing 4 inch heels? I mean, come on. She has no job to speak of and she wouldn't be able to go out on adventurous shootouts with Jason. It goes against everything she is and does. We all know she likes to put other children in danger -- is she going to do the same with her own?
The only way that Sam can have Jason's baby is for Liz to hire thugs to go after mother and child and then watch while some crazy woman walks off with the baby.

Sam could have hired a surrogate back in 2007 when she was telling Amelia all about Liz/Jake. She chose not to and could have gotten back at Liz by having Lucky's baby in 2008. Sam and JaSam are suppose to be the "ride and die" couple which is why Guza/Frons did not want Jason with Liz and the boys which would have domesticated the character. Of course, Jason has been domesticated since he was with Robin years ago and has had countless folks living in his home while bringing him food and beverage.

After she lost baby Lila, Sam was immediately wanting to get pregnant again. Jason has always been the one hesitant and that is why it hurt so much when Liz was pregnant.
@laison4real-Back in 2007 when asked about a possible surrogate, Sam said Jason would not go for that, and adopting would not work because of their background. And how could she have had Luck'y baby in 2008 when she already knew she could not get pregnant and definately not carry a baby to full term? The fertility reconstruction is a very new procedure.

Seriously, I knew this would become Jasam v. Liason but I truly believe both fan bases have been shitted on with GH's writing. Sam and Liz have been sacrificed. I am a huge Liason fan but we'll never get that couple. I was content with baby Jake but now Jake is dead. Jasam still hasn't won because their baby is a reaction to Jake's death, not out of complete love and desire to have a child.
I dislike Sam because she is not really a character, just an extension of Jason. I wish Kelly Monaco got a real story. How great would it be if Sam she went off and got pregnant on her own and dumped Jason by the wayside.
I don't care how big a fan of Jasam one is, no fan comes out of this a winner.
