Well, this firing makes me much happier than Guza's does. Everyone complains about Guza, I am guilty of it myself, but I do think that most of the types of stories the fans want to see are stories that the execs at ABC daytime veto. I think it's THEM who don't want any stories to revolve around the vets, I don't see how bringing in a new HW is going to make that change. If anything, I feel that it's a way to save money, plus drive more fans away so that they can justify cancelling the show over the next year.

As for Days, I would LOVE to see what someone like Claire Labine could do with this show. She wrote so much wonderful material for the Q family on GH, imagine what she could do with the Hortons and the Bradys.

Sherri Anderson & Thom Racina Come Home

I hope whoever replaces her keeps Victor & Maggie going cuz they are fucken too much and fucken adorable.

I know of a writer whose show is winding up in January of 2012 who might be able to do some interesting things in Salem.

I hope she leaves before I start watching DAYS again. Once All My Children ends, I will be Soap Homeless...I was planning to watch DAYS to get my fix.

I hope a house falls on her, and all that's left are her striped socked feet rolling up under the building.

Sheri Anderson for the win! She knows how to write for Days' REAL characters, like Marlena, John, Patch and Kayla. Hopefully she'd get rid of Higley's horrid creations like Melanie, Daniel, and the Hernandez family.
