Elisabeth Hasselbeck Pens Osama Bin Laden Poem For Her Children

Worried about how she’d respond, if her children were old enough to ask about Osama Bin Laden’s death, The View’s Elisabeth Hasselbeck composed a poem she felt would be an appropriate way to handle the topic. She read it on The View on May 4.

"Osama Bin Laden was a very bad guy,
He hurt many people, don't ask me why,
We shot him in the head and now he is dead,
Now close your eyes and go to bed."

And there's no reason to try to tiptoe around it. Osama was a psychotic a**hole, and theh world is better off without him. Simple as that. And no I won't apologize for being happy that he's dead. I'm also glad that Hitler is dead.

"We shot him in the head and now he is dead" Sweet Dreams Darling! Seriously? Not that I think her little rhyme is necessary but couldn’t she pick another time perhaps breakfast time, to avoid nightmares about the bad man with a bullet in his head?

I am glad she wasn't my mom. I would have never slept again.

my question would be why would her little children being watching the news??? when i was 6 the last thing i was allowed to do was read a news paper or watch the news...lol

It was done with a sense of humor (and she didn't really read it to her kids), but reading these comments has been fun for me. I always enjoy seeing how humorless liberals can be! Wink Just as bad as conservatives. You folks never let me down!
