It's Official: Cady McClain is Returning to All My Children!

After an initial report Cady McClain was returning to All My Children and then a differing report saying she hadn’t in fact signed on the dotted line, McClain has announced on Facebook and Twitter that she is officially returning to Pine Valley.
Finally- I can confirm the rumors. I AM returning to AMC. Very happy to be a part of this historical serial drama...

Hey, dammit! I've had enough of your negativity & realist attitude, TV Gord. Dixie may not be your fav character, but her return is instrumental in bringing AMC to a close. The downward spiral of the show began with the pancake fiasco...
As long as I get my T&D reunion by September, I'm good. Lorraine Broderick righted the wrong of Brooke's dismissal last year. Hopefully, she can rectify the Dixie situation, as well. This is the time to be supportive of the show. I am sick of all the negative talk that my show's been getting. It's pointless to beat a dead horse.

I hope Dixie is alive when she returns. But I'm not really that excited. I love Dixie but there's so little time left and the show is so damaged. I think I'll be left with the feeling it was nice to see her and that'll be about it.

So when does Leo return with Vanessa in tow? After all if you going to reunite couples with their dead partners Leo should surely be there for his Greens ... and Gillian for Ryan ... Zach with Kendall .. Erica with who .. Mike Roy? Babe can come back to be with JR .. the list is endless ... and of course Angie will have her sight back ... we can resurrect Father Clarence!

Well, smack my ass and call me Sally! I'm over the moon. I stopped watching after PancakeGate because I was so disgusted with how the show had a blatant disregard for long-time fans. They treated Cady horrifically, and viewers weren't even a consideration. We were finally turning a corner so that T&D could grow closer and before that was allowed to happen - BAM - she's dead, dead... and by poisoned peanut butter (insulting since that's Cady's favorite, was MMT implying she'd like to kill HER instead?) pancakes meant for BABE! It was sloppy, it was rushed and edited into the Babe "death" storyline. You could see it wasn't part of the original storyline arc. Tacky! I only tuned back in when GhostDixie made appearances. NOW I WANT THE LIVE VERSION BACK AND WITH TAD AND KATHY... for their real together forever.
