Ruh Roh: Soaps In Depth Says Deal For Cady McClain's AMC Return Not Signed Yet!

Jesus keep me near the cross. Let's hope it isn't gonna be one of those weeks with soap news. Sigh. ABC Soaps In Depth is hearing Cady McClain's return to All My Children as Dixie isn't a done deal. Soap Opera Digest reported earlier today that McClain was returning before the soap ends, however SID's report says a source close to the actress claims negotiations are on going. I need a Dramamine.

WHY would she come back? Who needs her? Tad, thankfully, has moved on .. and she is dead .. of course we also saw Jesse dead .. GAH ..

Good grief. Well, it was stupid of them to kill her anyway, and with those damn pancakes. I hope that things work out and she comes back! I mean, she's Dixie!

I like Tad with Cara. I returned about two years ago. I prefer DK's writing. Sorry but some of the characters way back did not pull me. I think Tad has new life breathed into him.

Of course, since the show only has a few weeks left to film I see giving the longtime viewers some of their favs. I went thru that with atwt/gl.

Soaps will never be easy to write. Trying to please new fans versus longtime fans. Yikes. No wonder they are in trouble.
