Will Katie Couric Return to Daytime?
By Luke Kerr on March 16, 2011

With Katie Couric’s contract at CBS up in June, speculation about her next career move has intensified. According to Deadline, “Sources indicate that Couric is once again leaning towards a change, and this time it involves her following in Oprah Winfrey's footsteps as producer and host of her own syndicated talk show.”
A talk show isn’t Couric’s only option. Reportedly, NBC is interested in bringing their former star back into the fold and other major networks have also expressed interest in her too. However, CBS isn’t letting her go without a fight and according to Deadline, CBS “is said to be preparing an extensive package to present to Couric.”

Only problem I can see with this is that Katie Couric is a no-talent bore who helped tank CBS' news ratings. All we need is one more crappy afternoon talkfest. Isn't there anyone more interesting than her or that smug gloryhound Anderson Cooper to replace Queen Oprah?

I've also read that she's been in talks with CNN, MSNBC and ABC and that her contract would more than likely not be renewed.

Nothing against Katie Couric personally, but doesn't she already have ENOUGH jobs/work to keep her busy??? Sheesh!!!
