By Jillian Bowe on February 17, 2011

Philadelphia Eagles quaterback Michael Vick has decided to bow out of his guest appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show. The controversial football star, who went to prison for his involvement in an illegal dog-fighting ring, while playing for the Atlanta Falcons, released a statement to the Philly Sports Daily.com saying:
After careful consideration, I will need to postpone the taping of the Oprah Winfrey interview scheduled for February 22. I admire and respect Oprah and hope to be able to participate in an interview in the future.

Oprah who is a champion of animal rights and a dog lover would have probably roasted his ass; I'm sorry this didn't play out though it would have been a good watch LoL

I believe in second chances, don't get me wrong, but there is still SOMETHING about Michael Vick that disgusts the HELL out of me!!!! Perhaps it's best that he didn't go on. Oprah WOULD have annihilated him, and then she would have been labeled as being unforgiving and cruel!! It's a lose-lose situation for all involved.
P.S- I still feel that Vick's behavior that sent him to jail was DESPICABLE!!!!
