Oh, no he didn't! Seems like Eric Braeden is still peeved about How I Met Your Mother's Neil Patrick Harris hoe-checking him on Twitter. The Young and the Restless star spoke with The New York Times about Harris' tweet saying:
[He] needs a little spanking, that one.
Braeden never denied Harris' claims about his departure from the show and said although he was recovering from hip surgery in order for him to reprise the role:

That's not the full statement. Braeden explained that he is recuperating from surgery and has been working front burner at Y&R, doing 50 pages of dialog a day.
I think people are forgetting that Braeden is elderly and getting over major surgery. Hip replacement surgery is not like getting a cavity filled.
Have you ever known anyone Braeden's age who has gone through a hip replacement?

Ok I had to laugh at the comment of EB acting circles around NPH. EB has played essentially the same character in every role he has ever had. They are all interchangeable. While NPH has actually shown variety in his roles.

Simple C, this is real. Braeden appeared on HIMYM once before and was to appear again, but he thought the role wasn't worthy of his "talent" so he walked. They have recast with Ray Wise.

I'm sorry, but I highly doubt that HIMYM will EVER allow EB anywhere NEAR their set after his threatening messages he's posted in regards to NPH. NPH is the star of that show and the show will protect NPH any day of the week instead of having a buffoon like EB on their show for what I assume EB would consider a "measly" role that he isn't fitting for an actor of his "stature" (total joke people). Stature my rear end, like I said in another thread, I've lost all respect for EB and I for one am glad NPH called him on the carpet!
