General Hospital's Tyler Christopher Cast In Chuck Pratt's The Lying Game
By Jillian Bowe on December 03, 2010

According to Karen over at Wubs, General Hospital's Tyler Christopher has snagged a role in the ABC Family pilot The Lying Game. Christopher will appear on the series in the recurring role of Det. Matthews. The actor will re-team with ex-GH head writer Chuck Pratt who will executive produce/write the series. The Lying Game, based on the books of the same name, will center around a foster child (Alexandra Chando) who finds out she has a long-lost twin who goes missing and sets out to find her.

So this is the second time Tyler has been hooked up on a Pratt pilot?
Maybe this one will actually get a green-light?
Like Lynn Latham, I think Pratt is better at prime-time. Some people can't handle 250 episodes a year.

Yeah, whatever projects will keep Chuck Pratt AWAY from soaps is a GOOD thing!!
I hope he can help create another megahit, such as Melrose Place was, but time will tell.

I agree that Pratt is good in primetime. I didn't watch his work on AMC, because it had been ruined way before he got there for me, so I always thought he was given the short end of the stick for not being able to fix something that was a mess when he got there. I only know of his work at GH which to me got worse AFTER he left, DH, and MP, so I understand I may be ticking off some AMC viewers, but I have very little bad to say about him. I would be inclined to watch a primetime show because of his involvement.
Also, good fot Tyler, maybe he won't be bored on his new show like he has been on GH since his return. I wouldn't be opposed to a return of Steven "Coltin Scott" Martinez as Nik. I doubt he would, but from what I have seen, hes become a pretty decent actor since leaving.

Good For TC. He Needs To Leave GH. He's Bored There. Maybe This Will Be The Push He Needs

Congrats to Tyler Christopher. I hope his recurring role turns into a contract role and long, successful run for this new show.
BTW, this is a great picture of Christopher. It looks like him before he started to lift weights.
