Andrea Evans Returns to The Bold and the Beautiful!
By Luke Kerr on November 08, 2010

Boop Ooop-A-Doop! Multisoap superstar Andrea Evans is returning to one of her many old stomping grounds. Evans will be reprising the role of trailer trash schemer Tawny on The Bold and the Beautiful, according to TV Guide’s Michael Logan.
"Tawny has lost her job at the tollbooth back in Furnace Creek and she's lost her trailer, too," says Evans. "She's thinking her daughter is rich and will help her out — and, as always, I assume she's up to no good!"
Hmm, I wonder if B&B will even address the fact that Tawny was on the trail of her daughter Amber (Adrienne Frantz) and Lil D only a few months ago on The Young and the Restless?

I don't understand this because B & B already has several good actors/actresses that are underused b/c they have a big cast for a 30 minute show. Usually they do pretty well at rotating the actors/characters and giving everyone a turn. But why bring AE on when they just put Ashley Jones on recurring RIGHT in the MIDDLE of a big Jackie/Owen/Bridget triangle that they seemed to just DROP. And they barely ever show John McCook or they girl who plays Donna. And the uber talented guy who plays Rick Forrester (Kyle Lowder?) hasn't had a storyline in MONTHS. So, why add more people to the canvas when you can't use who you already have.
And I'm completely OVER Amber. I liked her on Y & R and I like her now but the story is too pushed on us in the midst of the other great stories we had going on already. I would much rather see the Owen/Jackie/Bridget story played out further than see Amber scheming her way around LA. They are painting her into a corner where she's done so much bad they'll have to write her off AGAIN!

Loved, loved, loved Andrea as the delicious Rebecca Hotchkiss on Passions! Is this a one-time-only appearance or a recurring role?

I'd rather see Tawny than Donna, Eric, Jackie, Bridget, etc. Tawny was the BIZNESS!

Tawny was always the best at her job: getting Amber into a mess.
I can bet Tawny will somehow convince her to trap someone into marriage, maybe even fake a pregnancy by Thomas or Liam or Oliver.
Anyway, Tawny is WAAAAAY more interesting than Steffi, NuBridget, the terrible re-write that is Lesly Kay's Felicia, Donna or Steph's annoying sister.

B&B has too many characters right now. It feels like every month they add 5 new ones.
we barely see Eric, Taylor, Donna, Pam, Steffy, Thorne, Felicia, Owen.
its the Hope Logan show now.

Amen! I've always hated Amber, but I loved Tawny and Andrea Evans was just perfect in that role.

I love AE but I have to agree with those that feel the cast is too large. As someone who started watching specifically for SJB its been very frustrating that she is never on. Whats the point of bringing on one of the best actresses in daytime (if not THE best) and then not use her? What happened to Bridget? What happened to Pam and Steven? What happened to Donna's hatred for Steph? I wonder what she thinks of her sister urging the woman she feels KILLED their mother to now fight for life.
And while I am complaining - why are he clothes so darn awful for a show thats suppose to be about fashion?

As you guys said in your most recent podcast, Y&R and B&B used to be much more in synch when they had crossovers. We really had the feeling that they were part of the same universe. We don’t see that anymore. The unappetizing doppelganger storyline on Y&R did not fit with Sheila Carter’s character history on B&B. The recent Amber and current Deacon storylines on Y&R have not reflected who these people were on B&B.
Why bother do crossovers if what we know to be true about the character is not being brought over with them?

PLEASE FIRE the person who creates/designs those horrible clothes that are supposed to be high end coture.
i've seen better looking clothes at Target.
and please give Sarah J. Brown a much larger role than just standing there and yelling at Amber. the woman is a 3 Daytime Emmy award winner for F*cks sake!

The person responsible for B&B's fugly fashions is costume designer Birgit Muller and YES, SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED.

Birgit Muller has gotten VERY lazy over the past few years..........
But you can say one thing about the Bell family--- they are LOYAL, even to those who have clearly outlived their usefulness!!!

On contract right now we have the characters of Eric, Stephanie, Brooke, Ridge, Taylor, Whip, Jackie, Owen, Rick, Nick, Marcus, Justin, Donna, Katie, Bill, Liam, Hope, Oliver, Felicia, Aggie, Thomas, Steffy, Amber, and Pam....and soon to be Dayzee
BUTTTTTTTTTT I'm willing to overlook that for my Tawny. I LOVEEEDDDD Tawny and she's sooooo delicously conniving and manipulative. B&B has really been lacking (Besides the past recent months) a good old-time trouble-maker. I mean there was Steffy, but it seemed a little forced with her (even tho I like her now)...
But having Amber (who I no longer buy as a schemer) and Tawny back just makes my watching B&B again feel nostalgic.
HOWEVER, I want Felicia and Agnes (two of the best daytimea actresses) to have a good storyline. Matter of fact, I'd love to see the two of them become rivals. Forget Brooke vs. Taylor......Felicia vs. Aggie for Nick's affections would be captivating to me (tho Nick is NO prize to anyone)
As for Donna and Eric not being seen...maybe that's why I'm enjoying the show again

Actually, bring back Antonio Sabato, Jr., and have Aggie and Felicia fight over him. He's a much more worthy tool....
Nick's days as a PRIZE were over a year after he arrived. When he was the rebellious sailor, he was okay...now he's just Ridge-lite. UGH.
And since I'm fixing the show, get rid of Texas Battle and hire another Marcus. Pair the Nu-Marcus with Dayzee, put Whip with Felicia, put Justin with Taylor, Rick and Amber redux MIGHT work (They had a lot of chemistry when she first returned)....send Hope away to college (I'm tired of her already)....Steffy and Liam. Oliver and Thomas (haha)...and then things would make a little sense. HEHEHEHEHE
*ducks*
