The Young and the Restless' Christian LeBlanc recently posed for Adam Bouska's inspiring NOH8 Campaign. Is it just me, or does this pic prove that Michael Baldwin and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) don't get nearly enough love scenes on Y&R?

I disagree with the idea that he isn't ever gonna come out. I just think he is taking a very long time to do it. After that dishy episode with daytimeconfidential, which was just about as openly gay as one can get, and this campaign, and the fact that all of his vacation pics are minus a significant other, he is outing himself one little step at a time. I know this sounds out there but does anyone ever think maybe he goes on vacation with Thaoo Penghlis (Tony, Days)? The two are always going to some romantic far away place, and coming back with all by myself pics. Maybe they are taking eachothers pictures lol. Just a thought. They would make a smashing looking couple.

I tend to look at Christian LeBlanc as someone who decides to live his life in what I like to call the David Hyde Pierce method. The now openly gay David, who played Dr. Niles Crane in the FRASIER series, was quoted as saying some years ago when rumors swirled around him, “I live my life as an open book. I just don’t see the need to read it out loud to anyone.” For me personally, it’s one of my favorite life quotes. I tend to believe that’s Christian’s mindset and more power to him. As someone pointed out, he was pretty out there when he was interviewed on DC.
Look at what former daytime star Ricky Martin has been through. Look at how he refused to allow Barbara Walters to pull him out of the closet before he was ready, withstood the sudden and consistent attempts to get him to out himself until HE was ready to come out publicly. I’ve always been a Ricky Martin fan but I never admired him more than I do now.
For me personally, as long as Christian stays the super talented actor and absolutely charming person that he is now, that’s all that matters to me. He’ll publicly come out, if he ever does, when he’s good and ready and quite frankly, that’s’ the way it should be.
