Kathy Griffin Rips The View's Elisabeth Hasselbeck on The Talk!

Funny gal Kathy Griffin stopped by The Talk on Tuesday and dished being banned from other talk shows, like The View. Griffin went on to explain her on-air showdown with Elisabeth Hasslebeck earlier this year is what caused her to be come persona non grata. Ms. Griffin doesn't take any prisioners discussing Hasslebeck's gripe with her. Could the ladies of The Talk be initiating a little drama with the competition to drum up ratings? Okay, they need to sign Kathy IMMEDIATELY. This was the only episode that has been half way decent.

Elizabeth Hasslebitch has been RUINING "The View" for YEARS............why can't Babs realize that and just get RID of her???! Seriously, what does she contribute to this show that's of any REAL value or significance??! Nothing.
As far as I'm concerned, she's just dead weight and needs to go!!!

I disagree. As much as I can't stand Elisabeth, she's one of the main reasons the show is such a success. She and Rosie put this show on the map in terms of becoming "Red, White and View" with their screeching matches. If anything, Babs should give her a stake.

I am biased b/c I just can't stand her!!! LOL!!!! I find NOTHING entertaining or interesting about her at all. However, I agree with you, she does seem to bring in ratings and push the envelope-- I have simply never been a fan!!

Kathy Griffin is hysterical...but even she couldn't help loosen up those stiffs on The Talk. Do I really care that J-Lo held Lea's hair while she puked...um, NO.
Hasslebeck makes me want to puke myself, but w/o her, there wouldn't be the yelling and screaming on The View that there is now...so I guess she does serve a purpose. But I haven't been able to watch since O'Reilly was on.

Ugh! As much as I like Griffin, I'm sad to see any positive publicity for the Talk that might help it gain viewers that should be going to support "One Life to Live"!

I agree with Alstonboy. Isn't Sherri Shepard also a Republican? At least she can state her opinions calmly without spewing vitrol at whomever she's designated as her enemy for the day.
As for The Talk, they *would* be smart to hire Kathy Griffin full time, but CBS is too stupid to know this.
