Deadline is reporting the planned Charlie's Angels reboot is going to pilot and while a lot of our readers feel Hollyweird is on remake overload, it can't hurt to have a little fun in trying to Wishful Cast the update of the Aaron Spelling classic with a few of our favorite soapers!
Personally, I would love to see All My Children's striking and talented Chrishell Stause as a modern day Jaclyn Smith. Days of Our Lives' Alison Sweeney would look great with the late Farrah Fawcett's classic, feathered 'do and since it's 2010, why not follow the movie franchise's lead in diversifying the TV Angels a bit, by having One Life to Live alum Tika Sumpter filling in the Kate Jackson slot? Now it's your turn.

Kelly Garrett - Jessica Leccia... She's like the poster child for "nice" and "angelic".
Jill Monroe - Molly Burnett... She's got the whole big toothy grin going on and the cutesy mannerisms.
Sabrina Duncan - Crystal Chappell... I know, I know, she's a bit out of the age range, but her characters always have an air of intelligence about them and with Leccia on board as Kelly, they can carry on the lesbian subtext that use to exist between the two characters in the original series.

I am not a huge fan of the idea of casting an actress in a role JUST because she has a certain look or b/c she strongly resembles the original actress...
Many horrible actresses have gained undeserved fame and recognition b/c of that bass ackwards manner of thinking over the years!! I really don't want to see any more Megan Foxs, Pamela Andersons or Carmen Electras running around Hollywood snatching up jobs from actresses who have REAL talent!!!
If we are going for TALENT, which we should be going for, I would say:
Tamara Braun, Kelly Monaco, Julie Marie Berman, Melissa Archer and Rebecca Budig are the most talented actresses on this list....
Chrishell Stause is also good, but not necesssarily one of my personal favorites!!!
Allison Sweeney is already overexposed as it is, and I don't think I want to see her ANYWHERE else...............
And as a side note, I would also like to issue a personal EEEWWWWWW to the notion of
Christel Khalil, Jacqueline Wood or Bree Williamson getting cast in something of this magnitude based on their acting skills, or lack thereof!!!
And ditto for Nadia Bjorlin!! Yeah, she's pretty, but not much of an actress from what I've seen!! Again, let's not give people opportunities that they really don't deserve b/c of their 'genetic advantages'!!!!

I say Steven Schnetzer for Charlie. He has one of the most distinctive voices on tv and he is smooth!
As for Bosley, how about switch it up a little. Trent Dawson comes to mind.
Funny and cute in his own way. Plus he can play whatever you throw at him.

I love it, and I totally agree!! Christel is one of the most OVERRATED actresses in daytime!! Don't get the appeal.....never have, probably never will. She's given some good performances, but she's so BLAH..........as an actress. I am slowly falling asleep at my computer screen just THINKING about her!!!

On your theoretical list I would put Rebecca Herbst there somewhere anything to get her out of the horrid way she is treated as an actress and how awful her character is written on GH and it would be refreshing to see her in something else...
also Tika Sumpter would be great she would definitely fit in this and add (some diversity)licorice to the mix.
Vanessa Marcil did an amazing job as an action packed rideNdie chick in the Sony webseries "The Bannen Way" She was written entirely different than she is now on GH. The scriptwriting was also better she was Kick-A with Kick-A dialog.
There are a few others as well that could work for me here, Ashley Jones did a wonderful job on True Blood. Elizabeth Hendricksen and Tamara Braun would definitely work and has the chops to pull it off. Jacquelin Mckinness Woods definitely has the look..
