Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez: The Young and the Restless Heads to New Orleans!

The Times-Picayune is reporting The Young and the Restless will film on location in New Orleans on Nov. 23. Joshua Morrow, Michelle Stafford, Sharon Case, Michael Muhney and Louisiana's own Christian LeBlanc are all heading to The Big Easy to shoot scenes. Hmm, the Nick/Sharon/Adam triangle playing out in one of the most hauntingly mythological cities in the world? This could work!

They probably let Christian go because he is a native and huge supporter of his hometown. But sadly, MAB and her writers are all about Phyllis, Sharon, Nick and Adam while she treats Lauren and Michael as filler.
CLB is very talented but MAB has relegated him to a supporting role whose main job is to prop Victor and the rest of the Newmans. He has been majorly backburned the last two months. Lauren was in the middle of the Fenmore sister story with Jill and they decide to write her off for almost two months. It would have been great to see them both there as over the years Michael has spoken of taking Lauren there, but they are not MAB's pets so only get what is left over. I am actually suprised they didn't send Maura West.
Glad they are showing on location scenes. Disappointed it is always the same actors who get favored treatment.

Well, since Tracey is not on contract, I doubt she care about airtime and probably isn't sad to miss a location shoot right before Thanksgiving -- especially if it's a one-day shoot.

Are Adam/Nick/Sharon even really a triangle? Sharon barely seems to give a rat's ass about Nick and Nick only seems to get upset about Sharon because she's always sniffing around Adam and vice versa. They need to start selling this whole thing better because zzzzzzzzzzzz. As it currently stands this "triangle" is more like parallel lines and definitely not deserving of a location shoot.

Now that the show is going to be in New Orleans, could the focus be someone OTHER than these four twits? Whatever happened to Michael finding his long lost father? How about exploring HIS life for a change? Enough of the not so fab four.

there appears to be conflicting information on when the Y & R group will be in New Orleans, this report says they will be there on 11/24, but the Times Picayune (New Orleans Newspaper) states they will be there next week and the scenes will appear around 11/24.

CLB said that he will be filming in NO next week. I believe the shows will be airing near Thanksgiving.
