You know, God bless Brian Frons. Even his rival network's late night programming is plugging General Hospital! The sudser's torn asunder medicos Patrick (Jason Thompson) and Robin (Kimberly McCullough), along with that psycho Jezebel, Lisa (Brianna Brown), were mentioned Tuesday night on Letterman as part of "Top 10 Entries on Barack Obama's Enemies List". No. 9 was "General Hospital's Patrick for cheating on Robin with Lisa". Check out the clip after the jump!

I have some friends over at the Late Show and having worked there myself in the research room, know for a fact that there are many soap fans at the Late Show. Not surprised something like this would sneak in, since many different writers and other freelancers submit top ten lists items and ideas, It's just the type of thing on the top ten that would throw people and get them to laugh.

So if I understand well.

Sonny shooting his beloved Dante didn't make the list ...
James Franco joining the show didn't make the list
Dante and Lulu having sex with blurred boobs didn't make the list
Vanessa/Brenda's return didn't make the list ...

Just to speak of the four more promoted storylines of the past year ...

But the best written AND NON MOB RELATED storyline of the two past years, who got the audience clapping and ratings to go up, did ? WHAT A SHOCKER FOR GUZA I BET !

When will Guza understand that what is important to this show are not his favorite pets but good, balanced, and very well acted storylines.
But I guess that TPTB must be unhappy that everybody is clapping for Scrubs when we should be clapping for Sonny and Brenda as well as Sonny and Dante.
That's probably the reason why they are ruining the Scrubs/Lisa storyline by having Lisa come back to work at GH as if nothing happened and she could go to perform surgery as usual ? So lame ...
Guza : it is not because we say we love something that we must be overfed with it the minute we have said that and it reached your brain so please the part of Lisa in the Scrubs storyline should be OVER for now ... Bring her back in a few months or have her work with other characters but please don't ruin this by trying to artificially extend a storyline !

aramis270 Sonny/Dante have made the top ten list before. Letterman's uses characters and storylines from GH on his top ten often for a talk fest. I always think it's cool when he breaks out GH. This is the second time he's used Patrick and Robin.
