Guiding Light's Robert Newman to Face Off With Hotch on Criminal Minds!
Looks like Reva Darling ain't the only one booking gigs. Kim Zimmer's former Guiding Light leading man Robert Newman is set to appear on the CBS procedural Criminal Minds this Nov. 3. Newman will guest star as Sheriff Salters, a " a no-nonsense, former Marine" in the episode entitled "Middle Man".
The eppy's plot will revolve around the murder of three exotic dancers living in different counties across Indiana. Once they finish working the poles, the women end up missing in action! SPOILER ALERT: When a fourth woman goes missing, three young men become suspects, because they are capturing the women, then letting them go into corn fields, only to hunt them all over again. Yep, sounds just like the last five years of Guiding Light.
Look for Sheriff Salters to butt heads with Unit Chief Aaron "Hotch" Hotchner (Thomas Gibson, ex-Sam Fowler, Another World), when Hotch confronts him about a mole in the Sherrif's office, who is leaking dirt to the pervy killers. Criminal Minds, which also stars Newman's fellow CBS soap alum Shemar Moore (ex-Malcolm, The Young and the Restless), airs at 9 pm EST/10 pm PST on CBS.

Why no mention that Melissa Claire Egan also is in this episode?? Its all about how a GLer is in it, how former Y&R and ATWT stars are in it and cant even give any mention to a current AMCer? not fair at all.

I never miss an episode of Criminal Minds. I think it is the best drama on tv today. ..Love love love it. ..The actors work like a team and the stories are awesome and sometimes scary beyond words. ....I also watch all the reruns which are on a lot of time in primetime on cable. ...Can't wait to see him. ......Not sure who Meliisa is but I will know when I see her. So glad to see familiar faces. ......Can't wait. ...
