I hate to be one of THOSE gays, but I’m a bit bothered that they couldn’t put a real drag queen or transsexual or androgyne on the cover of their inaugural issue. I mean, everyone rightfully makes fun of Out for always having straight people on their cover, and, yes, it’s good to celebrate our straight, cisgendered allies, but why must it be about THEM, as it always is in our society?

Say what you will about James Franco, but you gotta admire his versatility and ability to push the envelope.
I find him to be very charming and interesting.

Versatility and envelope-pushing doesn't make up for a lack of talent. He wouldn't have to pull all these stunts if his acting ability stood on its own merit.

Now see that's where we disagree. I find James Franco to be a pretty good actor, and he has always entertained me on GH. To each his or her own..................

He should come out of the closet already. He is trying to be gay without admitting he is. If you want to call that pushing the envelope, so be it!

Well, if he is gay, he can come out of his closet and jump into MY bed. I'll gladly except him, as long as he remembers to take off his foundation, lipstick, mascara and stiletto heels first!!!!
Just sayin......
In drag or outta drag, I happen to think he's pretty hot. But that's another subject entirely............

maybe he's gay maybe he's just a bohemian type that likes to mess around with life. He certainly seems to have some sort of goal in all of this. First the gay pride, then the performance art stuff, then the gh, then the filming, now the cross dressing. Maybe he is studying for a role. Some actors throw theirselves into the role. Usually not quite so publicly but who knows?
Whatever his story, I hope its more interesting than a guy on drugs lol. That would be sad.
He is definately warming up to something...... time for find out what.

I'm a Franco fan and he's an artist and actor so he is a versatile human being don't know if he's gay or not don't care...I find him an interesting man and creative. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Bourgeois Nerd, it's not the inaugural issue. It's the second issue. And it's not much of a magazine. So far, it appears to come out annually.
