Ex-Y&R Star Vanessa Marano to Guest on Parenthood

Seems like former The Young and the Restless star Vanessa Marano (ex-Eden) has been a busy bee. According to Gilmore News.com, the actress will guest star on NBC's Parenthood. Marano will reunite with her former Gilmore Girls co-star, Lauren Graham. Look for Marano's episode to air Oct. 5.

This girl, and countless others, are prime examples of good actors outside of the genre. She was awful on Y&R, but fantastic in her various guest spots in Primetime. And I will give that she's young, but will equate that w/this outside her work on Y&R, specifically "Dexter", you would've never know how bad she was on the soaps.
